Brandons Birthday

For Brandon's birthday this year I made him an omelet and some toast for breakfast and then after getting Ethan from preschool we went to Famous Dave's for lunch. Then we just hung out and did whatever Brandon wanted to do and for dinner we went to Macaroni grill! It was actually pretty yummy and the kids got to draw all over the tables, so they had fun with it. Then we went home and had presents and some cake! 

So weird but Wyatt loved the lemon from the water. I think he sucked on it for like a half hour! haha

Then since it was Brandon's birthday they gave him a complimentary dessert! 

We had the chocolate cake and it was super rich!! But hey it was free! :-)

Time for presents! :-) 

Our boys sure do love their daddy!!

So Brandon got some new golf shoes for his birthday, a nerf gun and some skittles! What a good birthday! ;-) haha

Then we had the infamous lemon cake for dessert. Brandon wanted to try it with strawberries and whip cream (like angel food cake). It was ok.. but we figured the lemon cake is better on its own! 

Oh and something funny that happened earlier that day. I had Ethan help me wrap up Bran's presents and we hid his shoes individually so that he would have to go looking for them. Then as soon as we got downstairs after hiding them Ethan tell Brandon that, "We hid your shoes in the dryer" haha So I then had to tell him that it was supposed to be a secret and that he can't tell people what their presents are or it is not a surprise! So I had to go back upstairs without Ethan knowing it and re hide the shoes! haha Then when it came time for presents we were going to play "hot and cold" to help him find it. Ethan was so excited that he ran upstairs to the laundry room and pointed with such excitement only to find out that they were not there anymore! haha It was pretty funny! We have been trying to work with Ethan on the concept of a secret now! haha Hopefully it catches on or Christmas will be interesting! haha
