Christmas!!

Christmas Morning Ethan woke up sometime after 7. He came in our room and told us that there was things inside his stocking. We told him that we couldn't open it yet so he should go wait in his room. He was so excited and could hardly wait. So instead of going in his room Brandon found him on the stairs just sitting waiting patiently! haha So we got dressed and went downstairs with him. We then decided that maybe we should go wake up Wyatt so that we could start opening stockings, since Ethan was so excited and we wanted Wyatt to be down there too! So we had to go wake up Wyatt, and he was so tired still. He just played his head on my shoulder and kept rubbing his eyes! Once we set the stocking on his lap though he woke up and got really excited!! 

Baby Jesus also was in his manger on Christmas morning!! Ethan was sweet and gave baby jesus a kiss. 

This was Ethan's, "IM SOOOO EXCITED!!" face! haha

Wyatt was so excited about his stocking. He kept gasping at everything he pulled out. I think he had candy in his mouth within a minutes of opening his stocking! haha He was so excited about his chocolate Santa's! haha 

All three boys got candy filled candy canes. So Ethan said that they should do cheers. haha So this is the three of them doing cheers with their candy canes! haha 

After stockings Ethan wanted to go play with the race track that they had gotten from their cousins! 

We mentioned opening up other presents but they wanted to play with the track for a minute before opening other presents. haha 

Maybe we should have told Santa they didn't need anything else! ;-) 

Then after they played for a few minutes we started on the rest of the presents. They got lots of cool things. 

They got these jammies and beanies and the cars that are in their hands! haha 

We also all got cereal. (A tradition that I grew up with) So after opening a few presents we took a break and had breakfast before finishing up with the presents. 

My sister Tifany got the boys these little target vests and an activity book. The boys thought they were pretty cool!

Ethan got some k'nex. He LOVES them! He is so good at creating and building little things with them! It was a perfect toy for him! 

Wyatt got a Mickey Mouse helmet to wear when he rides his bike! :-)

Ethan got Wyatt a Spiderman Motorcycle! Wyatt plays with the little spiderman on it more than the motorcycle! haha

Wyatt got Ethan a jet Transformer toy!! Ethan loves it! 

Just love seeing them hugging!! 

Then Santa got them something that didn't fit in the house...

Oh man!!! A car!! 

They had so much fun riding it for a few minutes outside. Wyatt is still a little too small to drive it, but, he is perfectly fine letting Ethan drive it. In fact, we let Wyatt take a turn to drive it and he said, "I don't like it" haha Then let Ethan just in the drivers seat and he plopped back in the passenger seat! haha So it worked out perfectly! 

Brandon got me a vacuum sealer (super nice!). I got to use it that night to vacuum seal our steaks we had just bought from costco! :-) He also got me a solly baby wrap, and a coach wallet!! He spoils me! 

After relaxing the rest of the day and eating too much candy we had a good steak dinner and then made our ginger bread houses! The boys had fun decorating them and even more fun eating the candy! haha

It was a great day and a success for being our very first Christmas at home! It even ended up snowing and giving us a white Christmas. The boys got lots of little things and a few big things. Mostly things they both get to play with and even though it didn't seem like we got them a lot of stuff, we probably could have gotten them less! haha oh well now we know for next year! :-) It sure is easy when they are little because the smallest things make them happy! :-)
