I can't believe Emmett is at the 6 month mark already. He is such a silly little boy. He still squeals all the time and is still not sleeping through the night. He has been getting hit over and over again with colds and that always makes it hard for him to sleep at night. He also just does not drink enough during the day to be able to sleep through the night. He eat pretty much right in between what Ethan and Wyatt did. He drinks between 20 and 25 ounces each day give or take, unless he is sick. He loves to play with his spinning fish rattle that is attached to his play saucer. He pretty much only plays with that one toy on it and just spins it over and over again. It is pretty funny to watch. He has had carrots and applesauce so far for food and seems to like them. If we are sitting at the table for dinner and he it with us he gets upset and wants to eat something too. That has happened only a couple of times because he is normally asleep while we are eating. He has started to spit and throw his toys off of his high chair and he is getting better at sitting up by himself. He is not sitting up by himself completely yet but we can get normally up to 5 minutes of him sitting in front of us by himself before he flings himself backwards. Also on December 14th he started to really get the hang of rolling over. He started that day to roll from back to tummy and then tummy to back over and over again to get places. He only rolls to the left so he gets stuck after a while and then just gets upset because he won't roll the other way. haha He is so much fun and we just love him so much. He is starting to get feistier and I am a little worried about that. haha Just because I don't want him to be feisty. I just want him to be as sweet as possible! :-) But, I guess with 2 older brothers he is going to have to be feisty or he will get pushed around. haha
Sure do love this little guy. We are excited to see how he changes in the next few months!
And at the same time wanting time to slow down!
It goes by way too fast!!
