The rest of June was spent just having fun with summer activities! Some shopping, swimming, ice cream and backyard fun!
I took Ethan out to get some new clothes and look for some sandals. On the way home we stopped at Chick Fil A and got some drinks. Ethan had his first frosted lemonade and he drank the whole thing by the time we got home. Then he complained that his stomach hurt. haha What a nut!!
We also finally got a time slot at our pool. It has been hard to get a reservation at our pool this summer. So we were excited to finally get a time spot to go have fun at our pool.
Kayden LOVED the slide! He had a serious face the whole way down but as soon as it was over he would have a huge grin on his face and point to the slide again. haha It was super cute!
The kids were so happy that we finally got to go to our pool! They were getting bored of our backyard. haha
Kayden learned that if he shakes the gate hard and long enough it opens up and he can get through. haha So now the gate is really just there so I know if he is trying to get up the stares.
Kayden was also pretty much walking by this point. He was starting to stand up in the middle of the room by himself and take steps. He is now going anywhere and everywhere he wants. It is fun watching him waddle around. He still likes to crawl most places but he will stand up and start walking half of the time now. Its pretty fun!
Getting outside before the rain came in.
Its funny when Kayden tries the conch shell. He just blows a little bit and slobbers a ton. haha He sure is happy when trying though.
We also took the kids to get some ice cream. We tried out Walrus ice cream again just to see if maybe we just didn't know what to get our first time. We had only been to Walrus ice cream when we first moved to Colorado and we were not impressed. So we decided to give it another try.
It was good but it wasn't Kilwins. So I think we will stick with Kilwins from now on.
It was just fun to get out and go get ice cream with the kids for the first time since the pandemic hit.
My mom sent the boys caterpillars to watch them change into butterflies. It was a really cool set up and the boys loved watching the caterpillars change.
Some more fun at the Harmony pool.
Kayden loves the water. He splashes like crazy and then chokes on some water he splashed into his face. Then he does it all over again. haha He is such a cutie!
