End of summer break and start of another school year

 Before we knew it summer break was ending. We had back to school things happening yet again. Brandon gave the boys their father's blessings. The older boys had different days to get their schedules and check out their computers. Emmett and Kayden went to meet their teachers and see their classrooms. We tried to squeeze some more fun in before school started as well. 

Kayden being a big boy putting away the dishes. I think he just likes standing on counters. haha 

We went down to Denver to look for some clothes for the boys. Ethan is getting older and harder to shop for. So we made a day of it. Went shopping and then went to Cheesecake factory for our back to school dinner and to get my free birthday cheesecake. 

Practicing his name again. After a summer of no school he needed to practice writing his name before Kindergarten started.

The prep work for school lunches has began! 

Another fun thing happened with our house. Our windowsill were leaking on our big picture windows. We had a big rain storm come through and all of a sudden there were puddles of water on the inside on the windowsill. NOT GOOD!! 

Check in day for Wyatt! Getting his laptop and finding all his classes. 

He is officially going to Timnath Middle High. Joining Ethan at school.

Just a little bit of park time to enjoy the nice weather! 

Ethan then had his check in day. He is now in 9th grade! He is officially a freshman and in Highschool!! So CRAZY!!! 

Then Ethan had golf tryouts!

This may seem like a weird picture.. but I had to put it in here because Kayden eats cup of noodles so funny. He just shovels it in his mouth! 

We also rode our bikes to Chick fil a for dinner again. We sure do love riding bikes to dinner. The sun looked pretty cool that evening. 

A little more pool time. With Ethan starting 9th grade and Wyatt starting 6th. They both had a transition day which started a day earlier than the other boys had to go to school. So I took Emmett and Kayden to the pool while Ethan and Wyatt were at school. 

Ethan and Wyatt's first day of school. Crazy to think that Wyatt is now in 6th grade and Ethan is in 9th. Which also means that Ethan starts seminary! Yikes!!

Waving bye to Wyatt as he goes off to his very first day of Middle School! 

It is fun that it's a middle high school. So these boys can be at the same school together again. 

Time to meet Kayden and Emmett's teachers. 

Pretty fun seeing them so excited to see their teachers and where they will be for the school year. This was all new for Kayden this year. Since it is his first year at Bethke. Emmett was excited to say hi to Mrs. Eddy. Since he had her in kindergarten as well. 

The random plant that Emmett picked and pulled the entire roots out. haha He couldn't believe how big the roots were. 

Look at that handsome crew! oh ya, I forgot to mention the Wyatt is doing Band this year. He is playing the trombone. Apparently he said he always wanted to play the trumpet and then when he went to the instrument placement day he got matched with trombone. We shall see how that goes! 

First day of school for Emmett! He was so excited! 

And he is off!! With Kayden being in Kindergarten he had a staggered start. So he didn't start when Emmett did. So we got to walk Emmett up to the school and see him off to his first day back and first day of 3rd grade!
