The morning after Halloween was a Sunday and with Ethan, Wyatt and me being sick we decided to just stay home from church. Which was actually really nice because I was not feeling well that morning. After taking a nap that morning Brandon surprised me with this.
He spoils me!! :-)
So when I finally made it downstairs to tell him what a little stinker he was for getting this for me I mentioned that we could put up the Christmas Tree because it was officially November. Brandon agreed with me and said that we could (he must REALLY love me!). So we got the tree out and started to put it up. The boys were so excited to be putting up the Christmas Tree.
Ethan said that he and Wyatt were in charge of how we were decorating the tree. So Brandon and I were not allowed to just put an ornament on wherever. We had to ask Ethan where it was supposed to go. Ethan thought that was the best thing ever that he got to tell us what to do for once! haha This is also why our tree is decorated the way it is this year! haha
The came putting on the star! Wyatt got to do it this year and Ethan was very upset. So now we really have to make sure that we keep track so we can have proof somewhere as to whose turn it is each year so we don't have melt downs.
Wyatt did his best. This tree does not have the best place for the star to be placed so it is a little harder to get it on top. He did a pretty good job though.
Brandon just had to fix it a little bit.
Enjoying the tree, christmas music and a fire! What a great morning! :-)
Then we got the stockings out and Wyatt thought it was a big sock! haha Silly kid!
It is so nice having a pre lit tree that is only 3 different sections. It takes way less time to put up so you can get it all put together and enjoy it. It doesn't take a couple of weeks to get ready. We may have to re arrange the ornaments for Thanksgiving since we will have John and Coya's dog clisby here but for now it is just funny to look at. Oh and a funny side note from Wyatt. As soon as we got the tree up and decorated Wyatt said, "now lets take it down." haha As soon as it was up he wanted to put it away! haha Not sure how I feel about that! Must just be because he wants to have the fun of putting it back up again! haha
Then to end the fun of the afternoon the boys decided it was time to take their shirts off. haha boys will be boys! :-) They are so funny!
