10 Months!

Well last month on the 15th Emmett hit the 10 month mark. He is such a cute pie. We have come to realize that he is a very happy, feisty and stubborn kid. If he does not want to go to bed he will scream and scream for as long as we will let him until he come and get him. He has gotten so much better with table foods. Also for being 10 months old he had started to be able to clap, give high fives, pull himself up to the couch and other things and will yell while you tap his mouth to make that funny noise. He also on April 11th right before his 10 month mark he fell out of the crib. We had just gotten home from church and put him up in his crib to go to sleep. We had not lowered the crib yet since he had not been pulling himself up to anything at that point and while downstairs getting lunches ready we heard a huge thud from upstairs. It took us a minute to figure out what had happened. At first I thought something in the boys room had fallen over but then realized that couldn't have happened because the boys where in the kitchen with me. Then Brandon sat up from the couch and asked if Emmett fell out of the crib. I thought there was no way, until I looked in the monitor and only saw his blanket. He was not crying yet and we ran upstairs as fast as possible. When we got in his room sure enough he was on the floor next to his crib and he started turning around since he heard us and he started really crying. He must has knocked the wind out of him because he started crying super hard after a second. It was so sad and I felt so bad. We immediately lowered his crib so it wouldn't happen again. Anyways, Emmett is so cute and although stubborn and feisty he is a joy to have in our family and we can't get enough of him!! 

I sure do love this little boy!!
