Hibachi time

Brandon and I decided it would be fun to take the boys to the hibachi grill near us. The boys had watched the movie "Alexanders terrible horrible no good very bad day" and they thought the hibachi grill looked super cool. So Brandon told them that we have a place like that near our house. They were so excited and wanted to go. So we decided to we would be really good one week and not eat out until we went to get hibachi. We knew it would be expensive so we did our best to not eat out so we could save that money for going out as a family to the hibachi grill. That Thursday after basketball practice we made our way to East Moon and gave the boys their first experience with Hibachi. They were so excited and super hungry. When the cook came out and started doing his little show and flipping stuff all over the place they were mesmerized and smiling. It was fun to watch their reactions. 

Emmett was not so sure about it all when the cook kept hitting his spatulas against the grill and making loud noises. That and when he lit some oil on fire and it was a huge flame Emmett leaned away all scared. Then anytime he would pick up that bottle and pour some on the grill he would lean away and make that face again. haha He did not like that part. He looked at me and said, "Hot". haha He was not a fan. 

The cook flipped a little chunk of zucchini to Brandon and Brandon caught it in his mouth. He asked Ethan if he wanted to try and Ethan shook his head yes. So they guys gave him a couple of tries but it never made it into his mouth. Then I gave it a try and failed every time as well. Wyatt shook his head no when he pointed to him. However, when the guy brought out a little bottle and showed it to Emmett and asked if he wanted a bottle Emmett kind of hesitated and the very shyly shook his head yes. Then he looked at Wyatt and asked if he wanted some bottle. Wyatt shook his head yes and the guy told him to open his mouth. He then sprayed Wyatt in the face and mouth for probably a good 30 second and Wyatt just held his mouth open the whole time getting sprayed in the face. haha It was so funny and I wish I had gotten a picture of it. haha It was fun to see the boys having fun with it. They ate their dinner really good too once it was all said and done and after paying the massive bill we were out of there. It was a fun experience especially for the boys. The food was ok. Nothing to rave about so we won't be going there again for a very long time. haha I doubt we will go back there. It was more for the fun experience, and it was worth it just for the memories we made that night.
