June 18th-20th Ethan and Wyatt got to participate in a day camp that The Living Rock church puts on for free in our neighborhood. The boys were so excited and Emmett was super bummed that he couldn't join in on the fun. However, it did give me and Emmett some one on one time for a couple of hours for 3 mornings. It went from 9 till noon. When I went to pick them up they were all singing some kind of Christian Rock song. haha They had a dance that went along with it and it was pretty cute to watch. Especially since Wyatt was super excited to be singing them. He kept singing the song throughout the day.
Ethans second tooth was so wiggly that it was hanging side ways. haha
After the fun at the day camp we headed to the pool.
It was surprisingly colder out than we had expected or wanted. So we didn't last very long at the pool before we were ready to go home and warm up.
We also went to Costco to get Ethan's eyes checked out. He seemed to be rubbing his eyes a lot when he would read. Then he started to break down crying because he said that his eyes were hurting him when he was reading. So we went in and found out that when he is focusing on smaller things he is slightly far sighted. So we got him some glasses for reading. He was pretty excited about how cool they were.
After the 3rd day of Day Camp the Living Rock church puts on a BBQ for the families and the kids that joined in on the Day Camp fun. It is super fun. We get hot dogs and chips and water.
They even had a snow cone machine. The kids LOVED that.
After eating lunch the kids played at the park for a while before heading home.
Then Ethan's glasses came in so we tried them out. It will take some time to get used to them. He started saying that they were giving him a headache. Which my mom says is what happens when you first start wearing them until your eyes get used to them.
Then it was time to pack up for our trip to Chicago. We were heading out to Chicago for the Murri Family Reunion. This time around I made a list and had the boys help by packing up their own clothes.
Wyatt was super excited that I let them pack up their own clothes. Ethan did a good job and I let Emmett help a little bit too. It was way better letting them help pack then having me do it all by myself. Even if it took them a little bit more time then it would take me. They have to learn sometime.
