Polar Express!

On December 7th we surprised the boys by going to the Polar Express. We didn't tell them until right before we headed to the train. They were pretty excited and yet didn't know what to expect. So we got them in their jammies and headed to have an evening of fun and memories!

Then it was time for the fun to begin!

We started by going into a room to hear the story of the Polar Express. Emmett was really upset because he wanted to be on a train. We kept telling him that we would get on a train but we had to wait a little bit. He did not like the fact that we had to wait. Especially since some of the other passengers were already sitting on a train. So he was confused as to why we were not on a train. haha

He did like the songs and the dancing though. 

Then we got to enjoy some hot Chocolate and a cookie. After the story was over then we got ready to board the Polar Express!

We had to wait outside for probably 15 maybe 20 minutes while we waited for the train to arrive. It was FREEZING outside!! 

Then the train finally arrived! 

While we waited Mrs. Clause came by and said hi to Emmett and talked with him for a little bit which was cute!

So COLD!!

Finally the train came and we were able to board!

It was a cute experience! Emmett was soaking it up and Wyatt was getting into it. Ethan was a little bit more skeptical but still enjoyed it. Ethan was the one that after a little while said, "We are just going around in circles!" Then when all the kids were flipping out because they saw elves dancing at the north pole Ethan was not as enthusiastic about it. He knew that it was just a scene that they had put up. You can't put anything past that kid. At one point the train was making some screaching noises and I told Emmett that we must be going over the polar ice caps and he started trying to look out his window to see. haha At the end of the train ride Santa came by and gave all the kids their very own Bell to keep! They were super excited about that!! After getting off the train we headed to grab some dinner at Hu Hot! Then made our way back home! It was a fun evening! Emmett enjoyed it probably the most. Ethan and Wyatt were almost too old to enjoy it a ton but they still thought it was fun!
