After our fun evening on Thursday we had to do something fun on Friday so we asked Wyatt what he wanted to do for his Birthday. So we went to the, "big golfing" as Wyatt calls it. The boys had fun but it was kind of stressful for Brandon and I because they kept running after their balls before the rest of us had hit our balls. So it was fun but a lot more work then we would have liked. haha The most important thing is that Wyatt had fun because this was to celebrate him turning 4 on Monday. We figured since his birthday was on Monday that we would do the things he wanted to do that weekend.
Wyatt had so much fun.
After golfing we stopped at 7 Eleven for some yummy slurpees.
Later that day we went to a party that our friends were putting on. There was food and the kids had so much fun playing with other kids their ages. It was wild and crazy trying to keep track of Emmett since he is so little and gets into things he shouldn't be and isn't the most careful when it comes to stairs. So after probably 2 hours we took off home. The boys didn't even eat anything so we got home and still had to get them to eat some food before heading to bed. It was a fun and busy day!
Saturday was another busy day. Brandon's office party was that day at 11. Brandon had to go to the part at 10 to go start setting up for the party and he took Ethan and Wyatt with him while I stayed home to let Emmett sleep and I cleaned up some of the house! The party was fun they rented a bounce house/slide and cotton candy and popcorn machines. They also got costco pizza for the kids and Qudoba for the adults. There was a lot going on and it was a long afternoon. We didn't end up leaving the park until 3:30 afternoon.
Emmett was LOVING the cotton candy!! We finally just gave him a big chunk and he took off and was just happy as can be. I think he thought I was going to take it away from him because as I was trying to get pictures and video of him he kept walking and turning away from me! haha Silly kid!
Wyatt and Ethan had a blast eating way too much cotton candy and playing pretty much the whole time in the bounce house with other kids! haha
That afternoon after we got home a member of the Bishopric came to release me from my calling as Activity Day leader and after that we headed outside in the front yard to make cotton candy for the street party that was happening that evening as well. We hung out and chatted for about an hour and then wrangled up our kids and took off to get dinner at Chick Fil A. It was such a long day and really a busy weekend. We were so ready for the relaxing Sunday that was ahead of us after that busy weekend!
