Cousin Time!

This year for spring break Ty and Vandy came with their three kids Kemry, Tate and Piper. Ty had some work stuff to do in Denver that week so they decided to make a trip of it and come hangout. It was fun to have them in here with us and our boys were super excited to play with their cousins. By the end of the week Coya and John came with their little ones as well. It was a full house and a little crazy at times but mostly fun. The kids had a blast together and got along pretty well for most of the time. After the kids would go to bed at night we would watch movies or play games. It was a lot of fun catching up with them. We also found out that Vandy was expecting their fourth little one. It was a fun filled week and we were glad they decided to come out and hang with us. 

These 2 were so cute together. They had so much fun together running around and just being cute. Piper is the sweetest thing ever. He has the biggest smile and always seems happy. Emmett played really well with her for most of the time. Some of the time he would push her down or take something from her or hit her. The sad part is that he would take something from her and then walk away and laugh a completely fake laugh. It was hard not to laugh when he did it. He also experienced time out for the first official time. After pushing Piper I put Emmett in the corner by the front door facing the wall. The cutest thing about it was that he actually stayed in the corner and didn't move. I don't think I have had a little one actually stay in time out. The scary part is I think he liked it. haha As soon as he would do something he knew was bad he would go over to the corner on his own. haha It was the funniest and cutest thing!

We also went to the Fort Collins Discovery Museum!

They all had a lot of fun and after we went and got slurpees! 

Wyatt and Tate were digging for dinosaur bones or something! It was keeping them occupied and happy so I didn't mind all that much.

Cousin love! :-)

These 2 seriously cracked me up! They were so cute together and after playing with the fishy game they started to pretend to pray. They would go away from the table and then go back and sit down and fold their arms and pretend to pray and then do it all over again! haha SO.. Cute!!

Movie Time!

Tate didn't want to join the huddle and just sat off by himself.

The kids also saved a lady bug one day while we were enjoying the sunshine in the backyard.

Pool time! We headed to the Windsor Rec Center pool one afternoon as well!

Everyone had a blast and Ethan and Wyatt showed Kemry how to be brave and go down the big water slide. Also when we first got to the pool and we were standing in the pool area waiting for everyone to get ready to get in the water, Emmett took off and grabbed some random girls hand. haha The teenage girl was super cute about it and just smiled and looked at me and started to walk with him into the kiddie pool area. Once Emmett looked up and realized that it wasn't me he ran over to where I was. haha

After swimming we hung out the rest of the day until Coya and John arrived. Most of the kids fit on our little table for dinner.

Mady is getting too old and got to sit at the adult table. She didn't seem to mind all that much! I can't believe she is going to be 8 this summer.

Jaxtin got to enjoy our high chair. He really was not that big of a fan though and cried quite a bit. haha

I seriously loved watching Emmett in Time Out he is too stinking cute!

This was one of the "hug times" after fighting that these little ones had. They not only hugged after a fight some times they could give each other a kiss as well. Seriously such a cute age!

The kids had a blast with their treasure hunt! :-) 

Wyatt let Emmett have a piece of Candy and Emmett was pretty stoked!

For dinner Coya was making an Irish meal and for the meal we needed some red wine. Luckily, our neighbors and given us red wine our first Christmas we lived here and it was just sitting in our basement. So Brandon got to open his very first wine bottle. It was quite the adventure with we don't have a cork screw so he had to use some pliers! haha 

Bubble Time! 

The kids had some good fun playing with our bubble machine out in the backyard. I don't think our bubble machine had ever gotten used as much as it did when the cousins were in town. haha I had to go buy more bubbles because they used all of them! haha 

One night when all the kids were in bed we decided to have some masking fun! Coya had brought some facial masks and let us all try them out. haha 

Yes we are probably as goofy as our kids. I guess they had to get it from someone! haha 

Saturday before everyone was leaving it got pretty hot outside. The kids thought it was hot enough to take out the sprinkler and play in the water. It was hot but I don't know that it was really that hot to play in the water. haha They sure had fun with it though! 

While the kids played in the water me, Coya and Vandy took off for a girls night. The new "Beauty and the Beast" movie had come out and we bought tickets in advance to go see it. When Vandy and Coya first texted me about a girls night to go see the movie I thought they meant just us moms. However, I didn't realize that they were also kind of thinking of their daughter going too. I don't have daughters so it didn't even phase me to think that a girls night could mean their kids too. I felt bad when I realized that I didn't understand that since I only have boys but they forgave me since they never mentioned having the little girls come too. Anyways, the evening turned out fun! We hit the movie and then Cafe Rio afterwards. It was fun for us girl to just chat it up and have some girl time together. Overall it was a lot of fun to have everyone here at our house over spring break! Our kids were so sad to see their cousins leave! We are just glad that they all get along so well! What a fun spring break!! :-)
