Well this kid has officially finished preschool! He was so excited for his preschool celebration and to show us all of the songs he has learned at his school. He could hardly wait! When we got to the clubhouse for his little program he decided to hold the door open for practically everyone. haha I made sure to thank him for being such a gentleman. :-) He is looking for grown up and he is just so stinking cute.
I totally spaced having him practice his part for the program at home so it was a good thing that they practiced a few time at school. He did such a great job!
He did such a great job with all of the songs. He knew exactly what to sing and what movements to do and when. One of the songs it says repeat after me and Wyatt was the only one that would actually just repeat after the person in the song. Everyone else said what she said and then repeated it as well. You could tell that Wyatt was proud of himself. We were proud of him too! I thought it was awesome that he followed the directions to the song better than all the class. haha
After the songs they awarded the kid with their little graduation hat and a class picture. It was pretty cute!
Then they sang one more song and then got to throw their hats. Wyatt was super excited to throw his hat at the end. He had told us about it even before we went to the program that night. haha
Wyatt was the only one that caught his hat after throwing it. Everyone else had to grab it or look for it. haah Brandon was pretty proud about that. haha
Such a cute class and a super fun year for Wyatt. He LOVED his preschool class! I just hope he loves kindergarten as much as he loved preschool.
Wyatt has learned so much this year. He has all of his letters and their sounds down and can count pretty high. He is way more ready for kindergarten that Ethan was. He is also a year older which makes it nice. We may have to wait and put Emmett in school later too just so that he has an easier time with it like Wyatt will. We shall see! Anyways, Wyatt had so much fun this year and loved singing for us at their celebration. On a side note, since Brandon missed Dad's and Donuts Wyatt was really concerned that his Dad would miss his celebration too. So when Wyatt asked him if he was going to go to his celebration Brandon joked with him and said, "No. I am going to go golfing." Wyatt was not super happy about that. I made sure to let Wyatt know that Daddy was just teasing him and that he was going to be there. I think Wyatt really thought that he was going to miss it to go golfing because he kept asking me the next few days if Dad was going to go. He really wanted his Daddy to be there and just that simple comment made Wyatt unsure. He was pretty happy when he realized that Brandon was actually going to go. Brandon had to finally tell him that he was super excited to go and wouldn't miss it. Wyatt was super happy after that. Even the little things like a celebration or Dads and Donuts are super important to kids. We as parents really do need to go out of our way to make it to things like that so that our kids realize how much we love and care about them. We sure do love our sweet tender hearted little Wyatt. I just wish time would slow down a little bit so we could keep him little longer!
