Weekend Trip to Colorado Springs

We arrived at Great Wolf Lodge the evening of the 13th. The kids were so excited to go swimming. So we got checked in and got our swim suits on. Then the kids wanted to go swimming. So we started off with some swimming and then took a break and got some pizza. 

After eating pizza some the older kids wanted to go back and go swimming. The rest of the kids wanted to go back and get cleaned up and have some popcorn. 

I took Kayden back to our room to see if he would go to sleep and Emmett and Wyatt went with their cousins to their room. Kayden decided not to go to sleep so after I got him all showered up we made our way to Ty and Vandy's room to hangout for a little bit before calling it a night. We let the kids stay up a little and then went back to our room to get them in jammies and let them lay in bed and watch a little bit before turning off the TV and making them go to sleep. Brandon and Tyrel made a run to the gas station that night as well to get a few little food items for the morning and for lunch the following day. We figured we would just eat a light breakfast and not spend a lot of money on food there. So we ate a light breakfast and got ready to go swimming again.

Brandon was having fun tickling Kayden's back that morning and making him squirm. haha

Even Kayden was happy and ready to play in the water.

Thankfully, Kayden fell asleep on the lounge chair. I wasn't sure if he would but he finally did for a little bit. 

I love my family so much!! They are so stinking cute!! Kayden kept trying to pull Wyatt's hair while we took the picture. haha 

Then right before leaving Ethan and Wyatt got these sparkly tattoos. haha 

They were water proof for up to 7 days. Pretty cool product!! 

Then we were off to Ty and Vandy's house for the rest of the weekend to enjoy Conference with them. That evening after getting back to their house we got some yummy skirted heifer for dinner. 

What a cute little stinker. He is such a happy little boy!! 

Then while we watched conference we helped paint Ty and Vandy's kitchen and living room. 

The kids had fun playing some games together and just having fun running around together. 

After the women's session of conference Vandy and I stopped at Target and bought a few things including these awesome animal face masks. haha

Then Sunday morning we enjoyed a yummy breakfast of some omelet and monkey bread. The kids sat and enjoyed a little bit of conference with us. We stayed for the 2 sessions, had an earlier dinner and then made our way back home. It was a fun filled weekend of swimming, yummy food, mixed sodas, painting and conference!! Busy but fun weekend!! Always great times with cousins!
