May has arrived!

After getting back home from our trip it was back to life as we now new it. Doing homeschool work, going for runs, playing in the backyard and trying to just enjoy our time at home. The craziest part was that May was officially here which meant that Kayden was going to be turning 1! My baby is growing up so fast!!! 

Ethan put these headphones on Kayden was afternoon. Kayden didn't know what to do about them. He got all tense and just sat there not even moving. haha As soon as Ethan would take them off of his head he would relax and move as normal again. It was so funny!! 

Then as Brandon and I were getting dinner finished up we had the boys watch Kayden downstairs for a bit until dinner was ready. So they blocked off areas so that Kayden would stay safe. haha So I had to take a picture of it! haha 

Poor Kayden just loves the basement so much. A lot of times I don't take him downstairs because there are too many small toys that he can choke on. Other times I just don't want to go downstairs. I need to just take him downstairs more often. Anytime his brothers are down there he stands at that gate shaking it trying to open it so he can go down there and play. It is actually really cute to watch him do it. 

Getting some exercise! The boys rotate between bikes, scooter and rollerblades and I run with Kayden! 

Kayden has gotten so good at walking around the couch and the kitchen while holding onto stuff. He loves doing it! He will be walking before we know it. 

The kids have also loved storyline online during the pandemic. This time they had to have the iPad plugged in while they did it. So Kayden had to see what all the fuss was about. He thought it was pretty cool too and wanted it so badly that he was climbing over his brothers to get to it. haha 

 Brandon got the simulator all up and running for the boys. We got the net and screen from a friend in our ward for 100 bucks. Then Brandon found the simulator program from craiglist for a couple hundred. He was pretty stoked because normally to have a golf simulator set up like this cost a ton more than what we paid for it. The boys have been loving the golf simulator. They play on it every day now! Well as long as we let them. Haha I have to tell them to turn it off and go play outside otherwise they would play on it all day long. It will come in handy this coming winter for sure! 

 Another round of Monopoly! Ethan won this time! The boys have loved playing monopoly with their Dad! 

 Here is our finished product from our table refinish. We really like how it looks and our plates don't stick anymore which is always a plus. 

 This cute little guy!! He has so much fun watching in between the couches and has such a sweet smile! We sure love this little guy so much! 

So Wyatt may not like melted cheese these days (Still!!!) but he has all of a sudden started liking mushrooms. MUSHROOMS!! Of all things for him to start liking and he starts liking mushrooms. haha I think he just wants to be like his Dad! 😜 haha 

 Brandon took Emmett out on a one on one. They went to the driving range and then went to Walmart. Emmett really enjoyed his time with just his Dad. Since they went to Walmart they had to wear masks. Such a weird time we are living in. 

We have not been doing one on ones as often as we used to do. It has been hard since we really can't go many places. We need to start doing better though. With the kids being around each other all of the time now I am sure they would enjoy getting away from each other for a little bit every few weeks. 

Then there is this cutie again!!! haha He is going to be walking before we know it!! He cruises around the couch and around the cabinets. So it is only a matter of time till he is waking around places. He is growing up so stinking fast!!
