On September 16 and 17 we went to our Ward campout. We were thinking of not going just because we thought it might be a waste of time since we would not get to the campout until later that night. So we thought we would get there, set up and then it would be time to go to bed. However, we decided to just go for it and it turned out pretty fun. It was Ethan's very first experience with camping and he really liked being outside and just playing. However, Ethan slept HORRIBLE that night but, other than that it was fun haha! It was mainly just nice to go somewhere a little cooler. So instead of being in the hundreds it was in the low 80's I think and it might have been cooler than that. So besides a bad nights sleep it turned out to be pretty fun and we were glad that we went! So here are some pictures from the Campout.

Ethan LOVED being in the tent! He thought it was so much fun! Well I should say he enjoyed playing in the tent, but the whole sleeping in a tent outside where it was really cold he did not like!
So here is Brandon after our really rough night of barely any sleep! I swear Ethan slept worse that night than he did when he was a new born!

Then they got out a parachute for the kids to have some fun with. Ethan loves parachutes and he gets to play with one every week when we go to the library for a story time!

We had a good time even if we did not get much sleep and it was a short trip. It was still worth the trip and we were glad we did it!
