Life from May 6-21

So I am catching up on all the pictures I have not posted on my blog from my phone! So enjoy!!

Ethan drew these people and said that it was his family. Mom, Dad, Wyatt, Ethan Grandma and Grandpa Murri and Grandpa and GG. :-)

Stud in these sun glasses! :-)

My Mothers Day breakfast in bed! I have such a great husband that treats me so well. He brought me breakfast in bed and took care of the boys.

Then Wyatt made this in Nursery! So stinking cute!!

Spider Man!!

So this is just a picture of the empty fields outside of our neighborhood that are now being developed. I have a feeling in the next few years Timnath is going to look a whole lot different than it did when we moved in!

Ethan looks so funny with these goggles on! haha

Each one of these pictures are just so funny!! I couldnt only put one picture up because his faces are just classic! haha Love this silly boy!

Making plato noses.

Then one day one of our friends invited us to go on a hike to horsetooth falls. So me and the boys headed out and went on the hike. It was fun, but it is way easier when Brandon is there to help keep track of the boys!

Ethan did great and made it the whole way. He got tired but he did it! What a good sport!

Love my boys!!

Ethan discovered the joy of the Ninja Turtles game on the wii with daddy! haha

We sure do love the park! :-)

Daddy mowing the lawn and the boys enjoying the grass!

Cheese!!!

It looks like Wyatt is praying! haha

I think it is funny how red faced my boys get! They totally got that from me! haha Man I have such a cute family! :-)

The D.R: The End

Our last full day of our trip was spent just relaxing at our resort! We rented a kayak for free for like 20 minutes and then realized it would be more fun to just go snorkling. So we went snorkeling and found way cooler fish at our resort than we did on our excursion to the Island of Saona. Then we found out that we could have just gone snorkeling for less than half the price of our trip the day before and it would have been right off our resort at a coral reef and we would probably have seen even cooler things. Oh well you win some you lose some! :-) So we went snorkeling, played more bocce ball, went into a little town near our resort to try and find some coconuts to drink some coconut milk and got even more anxious to get home. The next morning we had breakfast with Tyrel andVandy and then said good bye to them and they took off. We then spent a little time just the two of us playing bocce ball and swimming in the pool for a little bit and enjoying our last pina coladas in the pool before we got showered up and grabbed a taxi to the airport!

Not exactly what I was expecting! haha

Our nasty coconuts! haha Out of the 4 of us we there was only 1 good coconut that Tyrel got. Haha So it was really just the experience of it all. haha

It was so much fun and really a Beautiful resort!

Good Bye Catalonia!

 Our cool privileged wrist bands.

The Punta Cana Airport had one side that was really cool looking.

Pretty cool set up for an airport!

My hottie husband!

After we got through security and everything we got to grab some lunch. They had Wendy's in the airport and we were pretty excited to eat it. Although we were not expecting to spend 20 bucks on 2 burgers, 1 fry and 1 drink! Talk about a rip off! They also had cinnabon there and we were tempted to get one but decided against it after spending what we did for our lunch! haha

You cant really see them  but the fans were ginormous!! They were pretty cool looking! Since there was no AC in the airport because it was all open to the outside they had these massive fans hanging from the ceiling which actually did the trick! After lunch we waited in the lobby for what seemed like forever before our flight boarded! We were SOO ready to get out of there. The nice thing was that we were flying first class home. That made a huge difference! It was nice being treated so nicely and given as many snacks and drinks as we wanted. Brandon and I played some cards and Ticket to Ride on his phone for most of the trip. By the time we flew into the Atlanta Georgia airport we well I was so glad to be back in the US and have a huge airport with air conditioning and all the american food. We ended up eating at Pei Wei for dinner and I finally was able to get my authentic Diet Coke after a week of what the Dominicans called Diet Coke but was actually Pepsi! haha We grabbed our food and headed to our terminal which was way far at one end of the airport. When we got to the terminal there was no one there and nothing on the screens. So after a few seconds we heard that they had moved our terminal. Our new terminal was now on the complete opposite side of the airport. So we hopped on a tram and speed walked to our new terminal with 5 minutes to spare. We sat down to chow down on our dinner before boarding only to have our flight delayed by like a half hour. By the time we took off finally heading home we couldn't be more anxious to be done with traveling and be back home in Colorado. We go there at 11 or so and then waited for our bags. We waited, and waited, and waited and then realized that our bag was not coming. Brandon's golf bag had made it, but our suitcase was no where to be seen. So we had to put in a claim and they told us that they would contact us as soon as they new what had happened. So we left without our luggage and thankfully go it the next afternoon! So everything turned out ok after all! It was a fun trip! I am so glad that Brandon and I were finally able to go somewhere tropical together! SOO Worth it!! It was well needed time and we can't wait until our next trip! Viva La Republica De Dominicana!

p.s. Our boys look super cute in their shirts we got them! :-)

Plus the welcome home we got from them was by far the best!! I went in to get Wyatt out of bed in the morning and at first he just stared at me and then when he realized it was mommy he got super excited and had the biggest smile on his face and just held on tight to me when I picked him up. When Ethan woke up and came downstairs I saw him right when he got to the bottom of the stairs and when he saw me he got super excited too and ran to me and gave me a huge hug and then gave Daddy a huge hug too! I think it was safe to say they missed us! :-) So glad to be back home!
