Update from my phone pictures!

Ok so I was looking through my phone pictures and realized that I never put these pictures on my blog. I need to be better at putting pictures from my phone on my computer so that I remember to put them on my blog!! So A while back for Family Home Evening we did our usual singing of "Popcorn Popping" and "Book or Mormon Stories" and then we added in "Heavenly Father loves me". So I decided to do a short lesson which consisted of telling Ethan that Heavenly Father loves us so much and that is why he gave us this world and everything that we have. So we looked outside and the trees and sky and some pictures of other things and called it good. It felt good to actually do a little lesson. Then after that we watched this movie that we have call "Buffalo Billy" It is an old little show about a Ventriloquist and his puppets. So we watched it and then made puppets together and afterwards we went out for ice cream cones at McDonalds. It was a really fun night and we need to do FHE like that more often! So here are some of the pictures of Ethan and Daddy with there puppets!

Our last trip to California during Brandon's last break that I posted about I forgot to put the pictures from my phone on there. So here are some of the pictures from that trip that I never put on...

Ethan was being funny on our drive to California. He would hide under his blanket and then peek out! haha He is such a cutie!!

He normally does pretty well on our car trips as long as we have a DVD player and he gets to watch movies for about half of the time and if he gets snacks! So yes that stuff on his face is from his Oreo! haha

He loved watching Great Grandma Edwards play games on her ipad! It was funny, he would just go sit by her and watch her play her games. There was one specific game that she would play that he LOVED! It was some words game that a worm would eat the words as she made them and then after a while if she got enough the worm would burp. Ethan would laugh every time the worm ate words and would tell the rest of us to come over and see! haha

I just had to get a picture of him eating celery! haha Ya he ate a little bit of it and then decided this was better! haha Our little puppy!

During the rest of Brandon's last break we were able to have some time to ourselves. So along with relaxing and my therapy sessions we decided to go to the zoo. It was really fun to just go with our little family! I LOVED IT!! Just walking around the Zoo just the three of us. So we decided to feed the parrots again and this time I was feeling good enough to join in the fun.

At one point Brandon had 3 birds on him at one time! It was crazy... and the birds were super hungry! Ethan loved it!!

I loved that Ethan fed a bird by himself. I had to hold up his arm or else the bird would have fallen off. He thought it was pretty cool and he tried to pet the bird while it was on his arm, which the bird did not like and kind of got mad. So luckily Ethan did not try too many times and the bird did not bite him. That would have been bad! We had a lot of fun feeding those birds! :-)

We also went and saw the penguins. One of them was swimming in the water which Ethan thought was pretty awesome!

This next picture was taken in the middle of ichatting with family. I do believe we were talking with my parents online and Ethan went into the bathroom. After a little while I thought we should go see what he was doing and this is what he was doing..

He was cleaning the floors!

I did not realize that I had left the commit in his cuboards in his bathroom so he got into it and decided to clean the floors for us! What a nice boy! haha I am just glad that he did not try to eat it atleast from what we know! But when Brandon went in to see what he was doing he told Brandon that he was cleaning! haha

Fathers Day Weekend:

So for Fathers Day weekend Brandon had gotten his 22 pistol gun finally so we decided to drop Ethan off at a friends house and go shooting on Saturday morning!

Brandon was really excited to finally have his first gun and go shooting! It was fun except it was still super hot at like 9:30 in the morning. So we did not last very long out in the sun before calling it quits and heading home!

Fathers Day morning I got up and made breakfast for Brandon before he had to go to his meeting (Which was cancelled and he did not know). Then Ethan woke up not feeling very good and ended up throwing up while I stayed home with him so that Brandon could go to the first hour of church. Luckily Ethan only three up once and then he started to feel better. So when Brandon got home from church he decided to have some cereal! So he had some Grape Nuts which Ethan decided that he wanted some too! Surprisingly he like them. I tell you this little boy is so funny with what he likes! So anyways, I had to get a picture of it because I thought it was so cute that Ethan was eating the same cereal with his Daddy on Fathers Day!

Brandon is such a good Daddy and such a great husband! We are truly so blessed to have him in our lives and we love him so very much!!

Just Some Fun times:

So Ethan loves to watch Brandon play games on his phone. He also likes to play Brandon's games on is phone and video games as well!

So here is Ethan watching and trying to help his Daddy play a game on his phone! :-)

Brandon has a car racing game that Ethan loves to play with him. He now will get the remote control and say "cool car game". He is so funny!!

Then the other day we went out the Chipotle for dinner and while we were at the table Ethan fell off the chair. He got a nice bruise on his forehead and his nose was bleeding it was pretty sad. So I took a picture of his battle wounds! Poor little buddy!

Shower Time

These last pictures were from today! It is just too stinking hot outside these days here in Arizona to go outside, and since we were bored and Ethan loves to play in the water I decided to let him play in the shower.

So I put him in the tub and turned on the shower instead of just filling up the tub with water. He liked it and I think I let him play for like a half hour until I decided to wash him up and get him out! But he had fun and then took a good nap afterwards so it turned out to be a good idea! haha Anyways I love my little family and we can't wait to have our next little boy here! I will update some pregnancy pictures next time!

Pregnancy round 2

So I have pretty much slacked off on writing anything about this pregnancy. I had planned to a few weeks ago and then I just never had the time! So here it is finally!

This pregnancy has had its differences that is for sure, but it has also been a pretty easy pregnancy just like it was with Ethan. Here are some of the differences:

• With this pregnancy I had ligament pains before I even knew that I was pregnant. In fact it was like 3 days before I thought I could even take a test that I started having pains. So I started to think that I probably was pregnant because I remember having those pains shortly after finding out I was pregnant with Ethan.
• I actually had and have some cravings this time. In the beginning I wanted potatoes like all the time. I could not get enough potatoes. I wanted fries, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, heavenly potatoes. Basically anything potato sounded good to me. I also have times where we will be watching TV and every commercial with food in it that food sounds good to me! haha
• I started feeling nauseous at about 6 weeks I think and it ended around 9 weeks. Basically by 10 weeks I was done with the nauseous phase which was nice.
• My nauseousness was almost an all day thing this time around. With Ethan it was mostly at night but this one I felt it basically all day.
• For the first few months I had a metallic taste in my mouth which made it almost impossible to drink water without wanting to gag. It was not fun.
• I have been slightly constipated with this pregnancy which was totally different that with Ethan (Ya TMI but this is for journaling purposes!)
• I felt this little one move for the first time at 10 weeks. We were saying our night time prayers and while I was praying bending over I felt a ton of flutters in the same spot over and over again. I thought that it could not have been the baby but there was no way that it was gas.
• I felt more fluttering movements with this pregnancy that I did with Ethan. With Ethan I felt a flutter once and the rest felt like twitches as he would kick or punch me. This one I felt a lot of flutters early on and farther back towards my back and butt which was a really weird feeling! haha
• I have been way more active during this pregnancy and I was able to keep up jogging until I was about 4 months along and then I had to stop because it was hurting my back.
• I have a lot of back pain with this one and I have been going in for therapy because of it. I found out that my pelvic bone was tilted so they have to adjust it and I have been doing exercises to help strenghthen the muscles around my pelvic bone to help my bones stay in place while my ligaments are relaxed because of being pregnant!
• I never get dizzy spells with this pregnancy. With Ethan I got them a good amount and they were sometime pretty bad. This time if I stand in one place too long I feel like I am going to pass out. I get kind of nauseous and hot and things start to go blurry and if it is a bad one than my hearing starts to fade as well. It is not fun and thankfully it does not happy all that often!

Well that is about all I can think of right now. My back pain is really the thing that causes me the most discomfort. Other than that this pregnancy is going pretty well.

Oh ya and we went in for our Ultrasound when I was 18 weeks along and this little one was moving a ton. I though Ethan moved a lot when he was in my tummy but this one moves even more. He was like doing flips during the ultrasound and the ultrasound tech could not get a good enough look at him to see whether he was a boy or a girl. However we got a short glimpse of what looked like little male parts so she said 80% boy. Luckily she did not get a good look at the 4 chambers of the heart or a good look at the face so we were sent in for another ultrasound 3 weeks later. During that ultrasound the ultrasound tech confirmed that it was indeed a boy! He was still moving around like crazy but was a little more squished. It was funny watching him move around especially since his feet were over his head and he was playing with is toes for some of it. He is developing well and everything looked good so we are excited to be having another little boy!

It is a little different because the one picture is a close up and the other is not but you get the picture! I am a little bigger than I was when I was pregnant with Ethan.

I wish she would have gotten a picture when he had his feet up over his head and was playing with his feet because it was pretty cute! Oh well! :-)

The side profile of our next little boy! He is going to be a cutie! :-) We are excited to be having another little boy. It will be fun for Ethan to have a little buddy to rough house with someday! :-)

I will take another picture of my baby belly soon. I am 23 weeks right now so it has probably gotten a little bit bigger since the last picture so I will take one soon and put it up! I still can't believe that I have a month until I hit my third trimester! This pregnancy seems to be going by fast and at the same time it seems to be going by kind of slow! It is weird that it can seem like both but it does! haha

Stickers

So these pictures were taken on my phone. I just had to put them on here because Ethan loves to do this with stickers.

Yes that is right he loves to put stickers on peoples faces! haha It is so funny! He thinks it is fun to put them on his own and our faces. He is such a funny little boy and we love him so much!

California!

So for Brandon's break from school at the end of May we headed to California to spend some time with my parents! It was a lot of fun and the weather was really nice. We were there for almost 2 weeks and Brandon headed to Colorado for 3 of those days so that he could meet with some more dentists and get an interview with a company called PDS. Anyways, it was a lot of fun. The evenings and mornings were so nice and cool and the afternoons were nice and warm. It was a nice break from the 100 degree weather we had been having here in Arizona. One of the days we decided to go to the park and play for a little bit and then feed the duckies. Although when we got there the slides and everything were already hot and there were signs by the pond telling you not to feed the ducks, which was not a problem since there were only 2 ducks there! LAME!! So we were not there for very long before we decided to head home and put Ethan down for his nap. He sure does love the park though. :-)

My mom had bought a little kid pool for Ethan to play in while we were there and before we headed to the park that day we filled up the pool and then planned on letting Ethan play in it later after his nap. So we went to the park that morning and then after Ethan's nap we let him play in the water. The water in the pool was like bath water it was crazy. Our water here in Arizona does not get that warm that fast when we will up Ethans pool that we have. So that was surprising and pretty awesome. Then of coarse when Ethan got in the water he kept pointing to me and saying "too" so Brandon and I got our bathing suites on and got in the little pool with him. It was fun even though the pool was pretty small for the three of us to sit in, but it worked out.

Then we turned the sprinkler on. Ethan loved running and and out of the water and then getting back into the pool with us. It was a lot of fun! :-)

Ethan was so funny when they were running through the sprinkler he would stop outside of the water and reach for daddy while saying "help" haha it was so funny. They did this quite a bit and after doing it they would run through the sprinkler and then come back into the pool!

Ethan liked getting us wet and pouring water on our heads!

But he didnt like it when Daddy would pour water on my head. haha He would get the most concerned look on his face and then afterwards he would give me a hug! haha What a cute little boy I have! :-)

We had a lot of fun in that little pool! Who needs a big pool when you can have so much fun in a little one! :-)

Then one morning we went outside and we had to refill up the pool. So papa let Ethan fill up the pool. Which always ends in Ethan soaking himself and trying to get others wet. So my dad taught him how to cover the hose with his thumb so that it will spray farther. Ethan LOVED it! haha

He had so much fun playing outside all the time at his Grandparents house.

The last night before Brandon got back we were hanging out outside and there was a big grasshopper close to where we were sitting. So my mom caught it and put it in a mason jar and covered it with wax paper and a lid. Ethan loved sticking pine needles in through the wholes. He thought the grasshopper was pretty cool. After playing with it for a while we took the jar out onto the grass and let Ethan poke wholes in the wax paper so that the grasshopper could get out. I recorded it on my phone and it was so funny. Ethan was getting a little nervous and the grasshopper would jump in the jar and hit the wax paper. My dad told him that it was ok and that the grasshopper would not hurt him. So I told him that he was going to get out and to go over to see it. Then as soon as Ethan got close and squatted down to see it the grasshopper hopped right out of the jar almost landing on him. He FREAKED out!! haha It was so funny!! Then after the shock of the grasshopper jumping out at him he followed it around and kept trying to get it to move and then towards the end he went up and touched it. haha He was so brave, I would not have done that! haha Then the next day Brandon was back and we went out to breakfast with my parents before taking off. It was a yummy breakfast and we were all full afterwards. So we let Ethan play out in the backyard one last time just to get him tired out so he would take a good nap in the car. While we were playing outside my mom decided to take some pics of us and get a little belly shot of me. So here are the pictures from our last morning in California before we headed back to hot Arizona.

I love my little family!!

We had a great time at my parents house and I was not excited to leave the nice weather for the hot weather, but it is always nice to get home! We drove home that thursday evening and then Brandon's parents flew in that next day. They came for memorial weekend and it was fun having them come hangout with us for a few days. Sadly I dont have any pictures of that visit. I am not as good as my mom is about taking pictures! Then we still had a whole week left before Brandon went back to school. It was a nice break and the first break were we had any time at home with just the three of us the whole time we have been here in Arizona so it was nice. We went to the zoo and just relaxed and went golfing and swimming! It was a fantastic break and now Brandon has started school again but it is his last year of Dental school so I think we can handle it! :-)
