Shoveling again!

So it dumped on us one night and so the next day Brandon had to go out and shovel the snow. Once Ethan realized daddy was going to go shovel snow he wanted to do it to (even though he had just gotten out of bed). He wanted to wear a rain coat that my mom had gotten for him. So I decided to let him wear this fire fighter rain coat so I could get some pictures! So here they are! :-) 

So thanks mom for sending this cute rain coat! :-) 

Chores?

So one morning I put Wyatt down for a nap and wanted to finish getting some cleaning done. So I asked Ethan if he wanted to help me. I told him if he washed the sliding door I would give him a nickel. Man did he LOVE being able to spray the window and wipe it down. I think he did it for like 10 minutes or longer. Then when I noticed that he was having more fun spraying the window than wiping it, and 409 was getting everywhere I had to call it quits. Oh well, he did a good job for the most part! :-) then I tried having him help me clean his room which did not last very long. So it was a start to having him do chores. Now I just need to think of some good things that he can do around the house for chores and start implementing them regularly! 

What a good helper! :-) 

Fun at the Mall

So when we can't go outside because of the cold, I like to get out of the house and let the kids play with other kids. So we end up going to either McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A or the mall play place. Since I didn't want to go spend money on food we went to the mall play place! They have a lot of fun so it is worth driving out to it.

I love this picture just because of the fact that Ethan looks like he is having a lot of fun! The boys were playing together and Ethan was making Wyatt laugh really hard.

My 16 months old!

Can't believe my baby is already 16 months. 

This is not the best picture color wise. I didn't think about it when i got him dressed to go to the mall play place. A little more color on him would have been nice. Never the less, he is such a cutie pie!! I still like this picture because of the little handsome boy in it! :-)
On January 26th our little muchkin hit the 16 month mark. Wyatt is showing more and more personality every day! It is crazy to see how much he had grown in the last little bit. He is becoming more and more of a toddler every day. He loves to play with his brother! They run around chasing each other laughing a lot these days. It makes me happy to see them playing and laughing together. Wyatt will chase after Ethan with his hands up like he is going to tickle him. It is the funniest thing. Wyatt is still our great eater! He will eat just about anything he can get his hands on. He has been nodding yes and no when he wants or does not want something. I will ask him if he wants to eat something and he will normally shake his head yes. He still does not say too many words. His words consist of: ba (ball), momo (more), mama (normally not really talking about me, just when he wants something), du du (al done), cheese (while taking pictures) dada normally just da, loo (for look which he says all the time). He can point to his nose and do what a fishy does with his mouth. He can play peak a boo and wave hi and bye. He tries to do anything and everything that Ethan does. He LOVES sauces. Ketchup, fry sauce, ranch and really anything that he can dip something into or just slurp down. Anytime we have a sauce with dinner whether at home or out it gets all over the place! haha He has about 11 teeth right now I believe. He has also (for the past while) been sitting down and lifting his feet when we need to put his socks on. It is pretty funny and so cute. He will go grab a sock and hand it to me or Brandon, sit down and lift his foot in the air so we can put it on for him. He has also gotten more into books. Everyday before nap time or bed time when we go into his room he points to the recliner chair in his room so that I will go sit with him and read him a book (normally the baby Elmo is so big book). He loves the baby Elmo book. He will point to his nose and do peak a boo, wave bye bye, say dada and lalala when it says that baby Elmo can do it. Oh ya did I mention that Wyatt LOVES to sing!! Any chance he gets he closes his eyes and tilts his head up a little bit and starts singing "lalala lala" haha It is the cutest thing ever! He has also started getting a little bit more tantrumy. His tantrums are normally because he is tired or hungry and they are at the funny stage where all he does is stomp around and do a little whinny voice! haha He could probably still take 2 naps a day but it normally ends up only being one nap. So I try to push Wyatt's nap until Ethan is about ready for his nap so that they can nap at the same time. This is a nice thing because 1, we get to go do something during the day if we want to. 2, I then get to have some me time and do what I need to while they are both sleeping. Wyatt has also pulled his diaper off while napping once. Brandon went in to get him out of bed and his pants were off and his diaper was in his hands. haha What a silly goof! Lets just hope this is not going to be a regular occurrence, or we may be in trouble! He has also gotten into pretend shooting. Ethan always runs around with either a gun or pretend gun and is shooting bad guys or bugs and Wyatt picked up on it. He will stand there with a lego or just his fingers pointed and make a shooting noise. It is actually pretty funny. Ethan thinks it is fun when Wyatt is shooting bad guys with him! Lets see another thing about Wyatt is he thinks it is so great and funny when Ethan is rough housing with him. Ethan can be punching him and pushing him down or jumping on him and Wyatt just busts up laughing. I don't get it, it must be a boy thing! He has also started to try and jump. He can get both feet off the floor only sometimes and normally results in him falling down, but he is getting better. When we pray he folds his arms bows his head and starts mumbling. haha It is so funny. Then he is done and starts doing what he was doing before (normally eating). I seriously love having a good eater! He could eat all the time if I let him. He sleeps great and is so happy!! I sure hope that we have another baby someday that eats and sleeps like he does! haha He LOVES to play in the basement. If Ethan gets close to the door and mentions the basement and then I walk away from the basement he starts balling!! haha He likes to play with the basketballs and have us lift him up so he can shoot it. He likes to use spoons and forks to eat when he can, and likes to be able to feed himself! He gabbers all the time and it is fun to hear him gab on about who knows what. He is really stubborn when it comes to saying actual words though. I will hold something in front of him to give to him and tell him to say please. He will lean forward for it, try to grab it from me, sit down and then lay down and whine because he wants what I have and I am not giving it to him, but he wont say please! haha I have tried with saying apple, please and mama but nothing happens, he just pouts and gets upset! haha Oh well he will catch on some time soon Im sure! Another thing he can do now is slide down a slide sitting up and keeping his balance. For a while he would turn around and go down on his stomach, but, he finally got it down. He gets so excited when he gets to the bottom and he has done it by himself. He will just look at me and smile! :-) He also likes to look at our family pictures on the wall and point and say "da" never "mama" just "Da". I guess we know who is his favorite ;-). haha He has quite the little attitude on him as well. He will come up to me with a grumpy scoul and hit me in the face. Then when I tell him no and grab his hand he tries to hit me again once I let go. I dont know what it is with my kids and hitting me in the face but I don't really care for it! haha Well I think that is about it for now. I can't believe how big he is getting. It sure is fun and still sad at the same time because of how fast time fly's. It is just the sweetest thing and I love him so much! He has been a blessing to our family and we couldnt see our lives without him!

Happy New Year! Welcome 2014

Very first pictures taken of me and my man in 2014. We stayed up the whole time this year. Normally we just give in and go to bed but this year we stayed up. Oh ya we are so cool! haha Anyways, we stayed up and right before going to be I was feeling sick to my stomach. I thought maybe I just needed to go to bed but it just kept getting worse. So to start off 2014 I was throwing up! WAHOO!! haha Ended up getting some stomach bug and threw up that night amongst other fun things that happen when you have a stomach bug. The next day I was super weak and still felt gross. So instead of going to a little celebratory party that a family in our ward was throwing in our neighborhood I was laying on the couch and sleeping all day while Brandon took care of the kids. What a fun way to start the New Year. We also had the missionaries coming over for dinner that night and luckily I was feeling much better by the time they came over. Still feeling gross but not as bad. Then that night Ethan got sick (Oh JOY). Then we had a break from the sickness until Saturday night when Brandon got it! Luckily Wyatt never got it. He was still fighting off a bad cold so I am glad he never caught what we had! Anyways, that was our beginning to the New Year! I wonder what is in store for us for the rest of the year! Hopefully not much more barfing! haha The rest of January went great!

Snow Day!

Soon after the New Year it decided to get cold and snow. We got a good amount of snow and Brandon was really excited to go out and shovel our driveway! So I got the boys all dressed up in their coats and boots and we went outside to help daddy and let the boys play around in the snow a little bit. Wyatt had a lot more fun than Ethan did. Ethan was just cold and not having much fun. Wyatt could care less about the cold, he LOVED playing in the snow. It was fun to watch them play in the snow!

Ethan also started Primary!

He was a little nervous I think, but also a little confused at  what was going on! haha He did so good that first Sunday in primary! It was weird walking past the nursery room without dropping him off. I can't believe I have a kid in primary now! Where did the time go!?

We had to leave early from church though since Daddy was home sick and watching Wyatt. So he didnt get to go to his class which made the next Sunday hard for him because he didnt know that they did fun things in class. He just thought that all they did was sit in primary and sing songs he doesnt know how to sing and not really do anything. So the next Sunday I had to sit in primary with him for a little while. There were 4 other moms in primary that next week with their new sunbeams too though. haha It sure is a hard transition. Going from nursery where they play and have snack and play some more. To primary where they have to sit reverent for an hour and then go and have a lesson where they do have some fun and some snack but it is nothing like nursery! Oh well, its all part of growing up! He is doing much better though! It just takes time to get used to it! :-)

When the weather got a little warmer and the snow was ready to be played with, we went outside and played a little bit and built a snowman! :-)

They had fun helping me build the snowman! Ethan helped pack some snow onto our snowman to help round him out. Then we went and found rocks for the eyes and I got a carrot out and Ethan helped dig out a whole for his nose. Then we got a piece of licorise for his mouth. Although then the boys wanted to eat licorise. Oh well they had fun! Wyatt kept falling over and not being able to get back up because of how puffy his clothes were! haha So much fun with my boys! :-)

Family Home Evening!

 For FHE one week we talked about missionaries and showed the boys Daddy's mission pictures! They liked looking at all the pictures. Then after we played a game before bed time!

Good ol connect 4. Ethan calls it the money game. Wyatt of coarse wanted to play with Ethan and Daddy, so Daddy let him help! He did a pretty good job at putting the discs into the holes. Ethan never plays it correctly. He just wants to race and get all of his red ones in before we get the black ones in! haha

Good Ol Chick-Fil-A

Me and the boys went to Chick-Fil-A for dinner one night while Brandon went to a dinner meeting. So we figured why not go and eat some food I don't have to cook and let the kids play. Then for dessert ice cream!! Yum!!

Wyatt was wanting to be a big boy and climbed up with Ethan and played with him and went down the slide! He sure does love to follow his big brother around! :-) Luckily they were the only kids in the play place. Which made it a lot easier for them to go play and I didnt have to worry about Wyatt getting pushed around.

We were going to go play at the park but it turned out to be too cold. So we went to the mall and let the kids play for a couple of hours. They had so much fun!!

Date Night!

So Brandon and I do not get on dates very often. When we do we end up just going out for dinner and then going home. So this time we decided to go out to dinner and then go do something fun. So we went out to a barbeque place called Nordy's (actually really good) and then we went ice skating! It was so much fun!

It has been so long since we have been ice skating I was tempted to use the little kid helper walker things. haha I eventually got the hang of it though and it was a ton of fun. It seems like it has been forever since we have gone and done something active and fun together as a couple! What a fun date night!!

Park days!

Any chance we get we go to the park by our house. It is not the best park, but it is a park none the less. If it is farely nice outside we head on over to the park. One of the days we decided to go have a picnic at the park. It was fun. Daddy even got to join us for a little bit before going back to work. There is a basketball court right by the park and if there is a ball over there Wyatt could care less about the park. He wants to get the ball! haha He is a silly kid!

My mom got Ethan a buzz lightyear mickey hat from Disney Land and I think Wyatt uses it more than Ethan! haha

What a cute Mickey Buzz Lightyear I have! :-) It is a little too big for him but super cute! When it falls off of him he comes over and leans his head in so that I can put it back on! haha

Family Fun Day!

So since Brandon has had Friday's off it is always nice to go do something fun as a family every once in a while. This time we decided to go do a few things. First we went to Chick-Fil-A and then we went bowling. The boys had a blast bowling. I had put up rolls of paper towels in our basement and we would do our own bowling which was fun. However, we mentioned going real bowling and Ethan would not let go of it! haha It sure is a little more stressful when the kids are so young to go bowling, but still fun! 

Zoo time!

The day after going bowling we decided to go to the Denver Zoo. One of Brandon's class mates was in Denver with her Husband so we figured we would go say hi. So we went to the zoo and then met up with them for lunch.

Then after meeting up with our friends in Denver we went to a mall in Boulder to check out some stores that were there and to just see Boulder since we had never been there. Then afterwards we got a text from our friends inviting us to dinner at Cafe Rio. So we figured why not and hit dinner with them and then TCBY for dessert after. We we got home we were beat! haha What a long day!!
