Wedding

After our Colorado trip we drove back to Arizona from California to meet up with Brandon's family who was coming in for Brandon's brother Jason's wedding. His Brother Tyrel had already been at our house with his family for a couple of days and the rest of Brans family was getting to our house on Thursday. So we drove back to AZ that Wednesday evening after flying in and got back that night, just in time to put Ethan and Wyatt to bed (past bedtime). The next day the rest of the family arrived and the fun/craziness began. That thursday Brandon, Tyrel, Jason and John went golfing and then were planning on going out to dinner for Jason's bachelor party and me and the girls had the bachelorette party to go to that evening. So when Brans parents and grandparents got in us girls headed out to get our nails done and then grab dinner. It was a fun evening even though we felt bad for leaving all 5 kiddos with the grandparents. Then the next day was set up for the wedding day. We all met up at the church building that Jason and Devin were getting married at and set up basically all day. After we set up we went to Brandon's school to take family pictures. After that we headed back to our house for a little bit. Then headed back out to go swimming at John and Coya's hotel. So the boys went and grabbed IN N OUT for everyone while the girls got the kids ready and took them swimming. It was fun but pretty taxing on the kiddos. They were champs though for not getting much of a nap during the day. The next day was Saturday (Wedding Day) and we headed over to the church building a little early to make sure that everything was ready and to help if it was needed. Then it was wedding time. The ceremony was very pretty and I was a little emotional and excited for Devin to be becoming a part of our crazy family. Ethan was the ring bearer and Mady was the flower girl and they were so cute. Mady was surprisingly the scared one and Ethan could care less that people were watching him and he just took off down the row to go to the front. Ethan did trip once on the red carpet they had on the grass but that was to be expected since he kind of drags his feet and the carpet kept bunching up. haha After the ceremony is was dinner and party time. Ethan went bonkers on the candy bar and ended up throwing up a little bit after eating too much candy and running around too much. Although that did not slow him down at all and he was crazy the rest of the night. We had a lot of fun dancing and the kids loved it. I think our little ones were the only ones on the dance floor at times. Then that night Kemry got sick on the way home from the reception and Ethan threw up one more time in the middle of the night. Poor Kemry ralphed about 10 times. John and Coya felt sick the next day as well. So we are not sure exactly what happened but luckily no one else got sick and especially the bride and groom didnt get sick. Sunday we just relaxed and spent time together after church. It felt so good to finally just relax after all of the wedding craziness. Then Monday Brandon's parents and grandparents left as well as Tyrel and his little family. So we went back to John and Coyas Hotel to go swimming again and hangout since they were still around and Jason and Devin came to swim as well. For dinner we went to Jasons apartment and ate some yummy Barros pizza and called it a night. It was a fun and very crazy weekend. We are so glad that Jason married Devin though. She is a great girl and fits in with all of us really well. So here are some pictures from our lovely weekend!!

Another great Trip to California

For Brandon's break at the end of February Brandon and I were planning on going to Colorado for a few days to figure out where we want to live and meet with Doctor Valstad again. Since we were planning on being in the car a lot going around looking through houses we figured it would be easier to leave the kids behind. So my parents graciously offered to watch Ethan and Wyatt for basically 5 days and 4 nights. So we headed down to California on a Wednesday and went to Disney Land on Thursday. We figured it would be our last time going to DisneyLand for a while. So we figured it would be fun to take the kids and bring my parents along as well. It was a lot of fun. More crowded than I had expected it to be on a Thursday and not during spring break for most people but oh well that is what kind of happens at Disneyland. Luckily it was not as crowded as it was the last time we went. We also really wanted to go because the new Cars land was open and we figured Ethan would LOVE it. Anyways, we had a lot of fun and cars land was really cute and fun. We did not do much in cars land we just went on one ride and then took pictures with McQueen and a little Tractor. But, it was fun and the set up was pretty awesome. It was a long day. We got there close to 11 and did not leave until a little after 10 that night. Ethan did not get a nap in at all and he did really well for not taking a nap. I have to say though he did not really understand the fact that we had to wait in line to go on rides and got kind of frustrated sometimes because he just wanted to ride it and not stand in line. So that was a struggle sometimes but not too bad. So here are the pictures from our day at Disneyland.

Luigis Casa De La Tires was Ethans first ride of the day. He seemed not too sure about it at first but I think he really like it.

McQueen was pretty cool. Super animated and just a lot of fun. I think Ethan was a little shocked and not sure of how to react with seeing Lightning McQueen in real life! haha

Wyatt was finally asleep for his morning nap!
Proof that Wyatt was there with all of us! haha

Ethan was not to keen on taking a picture with the tractor. The guy working the area was trying to get Ethan to say hi to the tractor (in Tractor language) but he just stood there and starred and acted really nervous. haha Silly boy!

The only pictures my mom was able to snap with buzz lightyear since he was leaving as soon as we got there.

Then my parents took Ethan on the Toy Story ride while Brandon and I went to find the childs lounge to warm up a bottle and feed wyatt. I never new that they had these child services places. They are the best. They have pretty much anything you can think of. They had a microwave, filtered water from the faucet, highchairs, really nice changing tables, nursing rooms, and really anything you could think of that you might have to buy for a baby if you forgot something. It was great and I wished that I had known about it when we took Ethan when he was 5 months old.

Afterwards Brandon and I went on the fariswheel.

So much fun!!

Wyatt conked again. I just had to take a picture because he is so stinking cute!!

Pluto was the only character besides McQueen that we actually got a picture with. It felt like everytime we were going to stand in line to get a picture with someone they were just about to leave. LAME! Oh well Ethan was really excited about taking a picture with Pluto. We were not going to take a picture with him at first but then Ethan said he wanted to and pulled me over there so we stood in line and just barely made it. Ethan said he wanted to give him a hug and a high five and he did. It was pretty cute!

Ethan LOVED Autopia. We let him drive all by himself. It was a pretty bumpy ride which was so funny and he loved it. Of coarse he wanted to go on it again and started crying when Brandon took him out of the car.  So we told him we would have to stand in line and he was mad but he got over it.

Wyatt and Grandpa Bell enjoying some relaxation while Brandon, Ethan and I were on Autopia.

The rocketship was another one of Ethans favorites this time around. He saw this ride and really wanted to go on it so I took him on it. While my mom took Wyatt to go feed him and Brandon and my Dad stood by and watched.

Yay for the Buzz Lightyear ride.
Blurry but still cute! :-)
What a cute little munchkin!

The infamous Jungle Cruise.

Later that night after dinner my parents watched Ethan and Wyatt and Brandon and I literally ran back to the park from McDonalds and to the cars Racers ride. Everyone said that we had to go on it and since Ethan is so small to ride it my parents told us just to go and that they would meet us after. So we got to the ride and it was about a 90 minute wait for standby. So we jumped into the single rider lane and it took a least half the time. It was so much faster going that route and we were still in the same car so it worked out great.

It was a fun ride and I wish I had my phone out longer to take more pictures. The race part is fun and you get going pretty fast. Ethan would have loved it. We were sad that he could not go on it because he would have had so much fun on it. Oh well, next time!!

The last stop of the night was fantasy land.

It was funny as soon as we got into fantasy land Ethan had this renewed energy. He got so excited and did not act tired anymore. He wanted to ride the carousel so bad and was so excited about it it was great!!

Ethan LOVES the Carousel. I think we rode it about  3 times in a row because the place was pretty empty since it was 9:30 or so and I am pretty sure the park was supposed to close at 10.

Then Daddy took Ethan on Dumbo.
I was going to go stand in line at Alice in Wonderland but when I got there it broke down.
Sad day.

Look at that cute face!!
Wyatt was a champ too. He was so tired by the end of the night since he did not get the longest naps in that day.

Then we went on Peter Pan.

Ethan like it but we could tell that he was getting tired.
We also went on Pinochio. I had forgotten about that ride since it has been so long since the last time I rode it. It was a little bit scarier than I remembered it being. At the end of the ride a whale pops up with its mouth wide open ready to eat you and ethan sunk down in the chair and cringed. Then after the ride that is all he could talk about. "The whale was going to eat us!" He seemed pretty concerned about it and I got worried that he was going to be up that night scared that a whale was going to eat him. Haha Silly boy so He rode the Carousel one last time and then we headed out. He was conked in the stroller by the time we were almost to the tram. Both Ethan and Wyatt were conked on our way out of he park. They had had a long eventful day.
It is always fun to go to Disneyland. Next time we might have to get a couple day hopper pass so that we can split it up a little bit.

The next day we hung around a little bit and planned on going out to dinner with Tifany and Quinton. Tif and Q were going to fly in from San Diego that evening and we were going to go to Lucille's. Its a yummy barbecue restaurant.

Wyatt all ready to go to dinner!

Brandon, Ethan and I went to go pick up Tif and Q from the place they were flying into. We were hoping to get there for the landing to see them fly in in the airplane, but we missed it. At least we were able to go and see it up close and Ethan got to sit in it. Quinton is a private pilot and is able to fly the plane I believe when ever he wants to. So he was able to fly himself and my sister down from San Diego which is a 2 and a half hour drive so it is a 30 minutes flight for them. haha

Then the next day was Saturday and I got up in the morning to get my hair cut and after that Brandon and I headed to the airport to fly out to Colorado. I was sad to leave my boys behind but excited to have a good amount of time alone with my Hubby. So it was bitter sweet! Of coarse I always think of the worst things possible going wrong when I leave my babies. Not about them but about something happening to me and Brandon so that is never fun. Luckily we had a great and very safe trip. We did not take many pictures but that is ok. It was kind of a crazy trip and it went by super fast. We flew into Denver that Saturday evening around 6 and then had to get our rental car and then find some place to eat dinner. Then we headed to Loveland to spend the night with an old friend of mine from back home. It was really nice to stay with them for that night and Brandon was able to talk to Andy the husband about Dental stuff since he is a Dentist too and I talked with Marci. Then the next day it snowed on us and we drove into Fort Collins to go to church. We decided to hit the ward that we were thinking we would be going to when we moved. It seemed like a really nice ward. We had like 3 people come up to us asking if we were new within like 3 minutes after sacrament meeting was over. It was funny. We also met a nice couple that have a little girl. The bishop introduced us to them because they live in the area that we were looking to find a house. I believe their names were the palmers. They were really nice and told us to email them or call them if we had any questions. After church we drove around a bit and then headed back to our friends place to have lunch and dinner with them. Then we checked into our hotel. We had a nice relaxing evening and i-chated with my mom and Ethan for a bit so that we could say hi and see how they were all doing. Then Monday started house hunting. We drove around with a realtor for a few hours looking at some really nice homes. One of the houses that we looked at had a HUGE backyard, and was so nice. It was also cheaper than the houses that we were wanting in Timnath Ranch. So we got home after going around with the realtor really confused. Then we looked on Zillow to see what the school districts were rated for that housing area. They were only 2s or 3s, so there was our answer. So we headed back to Timnath Ranch and went through a few houses and pretty much made up our minds. Then we met with the dentist Brandon is going to be partnering with for dinner that night. It was nice to meet him and his wife and daughter. We did not get any business stuff figured out since we were sitting at a Hibachi table with another family, but oh well. We got back to the hotel that evening and went to the hot tub and just relaxed and talked about the day and how we were feeling. It was a good day and answered our questions about where we wanted to live. However, we have nothing figured out for lending yet and we still have to sell our house. So although we may know where we want to live and in what style of home, we do not have any of the important stuff figured out for getting a loan to buy the house. So besides not knowing about lending and not figuring out logisitics about the practice Brandon is going into it was a successful trip and we enjoyed it. Although we also thought we really need a relaxing trip next time where we don't have to worry about anything and can really just enjoy being the 2 of us. Oh well, some day!! :-) So that Tuesday we drove around a little more and I got to see the practice Brandon will be working in, and then we made another trip to look at the house we want. We also went and met with someone from a corporate dental that Brandon was still flirting with just incase the other dentist fell through. It was a really nice office and the lady was really nice. After talking with her for a while we headed out to get dinner and a place called Bissetties. It was a really cute Italian restaurant with a cute set up.
The food was really good and they had fried zucchini that was so big and so good I think I would go back just for that! haha It was in old town Fort Collins which was a really cute place. Old school, but cute. It will be a fun place to go on a date night when the weather is really nice! After dinner we hit the hot tub again and then called it a night. We flew out at 8 the next morning so it was an early morning the day we flew out. We got back to my parents house close to noon and ate some lunch and had my mom take a few family pictures of us. Then we took the drive back to Arizona since Brandon's family was coming into town for his brother Jason's wedding that weekend.

While we were in Colorado our little baby boy turned 5 months old. I can't believe how fast time is flying these days. It feels like just yesterday I held him for the first time. He is such a cute boy I just can't get enough of him. He felt so much heavier and bigger when we got back from our trip and he seemed so much more grown up then when we left. Even my mom said that he seemed more baby like than infant like from when we dropped him off to when we picked him up. Here are some pictures that my mom took of Wyatt for his 5 month picture since I could not take one.

Just LOVE this little face.
