Thanksgiving Break!!

During Brandon's break we did a lot of work on our house. We worked on the house for a week and then headed to California to visit my family for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun. We got our laminate wood flooring down in our living/dining room and we got our tile placed in front of our back door. It was a lot of fun. We also put up our Christmas tree. It was fun working on our house again and getting things finished that we had wanted to finish for a while. Then we headed to California where we hung out with my family for a week. We went and saw "A Christmas Carol" with Jim Carry and "Old Dogs" both were ok. But, it was fun going with my family. We also played super mario on the wii and beat the game haha. Also we went and played raquetball and had fun watching movies and playing games with the family at night. It was an overall fun little vacation and both Brandon and I enjoyed it. Now school is back on for another 3 weeks before Christmas break. Which we are super excited for as well.

Finally... our very first big Christmas tree. That we got on craigs list.
It works perfect and we love having our first Christmas tree in our first house!!

We did not get any pictures from my parents house so these are just from the first week that we were on break. Overall we had a great break and can't wait till the next one.

Carving Pumpkins! So much fun!

So we carved pumpkins with our friends and Brandon had the job of getting
the top off as well as carving it!

I had the job of taking out all of the guts...!! Yum.....! hahaha

HALLOWEEN NIGHT


On Halloween night everyone came over to our house and we did caramel apples and watched a movie. It was fun and we had trick or treaters come for the first time. It was fun. I was so excited to get trick or treaters until they started coming and then I got all nervous haha I am a dork. We had to turn our lights off early because we were running low on candy. We did not know how many trick or treaters we would get so we only bought one bag from Sam's. So next year we will have to get another bad probably! It was fun hanging out with our friends on Halloween and making caramel apples. I could have done without the scary movie but it turned out pretty fun. It was our first Halloween in our first house and it was really nice. Lots of memories. So here are some of the pics of the caramel apples we made. They were very tasty!

So Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Now I get to start putting out some CHRISTMAS Stuff!! WAHOOO!! hahaha

2 Weeks and We have made it through the first quarter!

Well We only have about 2 weeks and then Brandon is done for about 2 and a half weeks. We are sooo excited to be able to have some time together. Brandon has been very... busy with school. Monday's he basically gets home eats dinner and goes to the library to study until 9 and then comes home and studies until we go to bed. So Monday's I don't really even get to see him. However, Tuesdays are the party days because the test for the week is over and so he takes a little brake and we hangout together. So life has been pretty different ever sine summer ended. I on the other hand have all the time in the world. I had one job interview and did not get that even though I thought it went rather well. So I kind of gave up. I also was thinking about how hard it would be to go visit family during the holiday seasons if I was working, and those are the only times that I really have to spend with Brandon and with family so I kind of did not want a job all that badly. Now I just do things around the house and when there is yard work to be done I go do it. :-) So sometimes there is not much to do and I have not found a good book to read. Finding a book to read will probably be my next project but until then I just try to have dinner ready when Brandon gets home. That is if I can think of something that would be good for dinner. So ya, life is kind of boring sometimes. Oh, and for Halloween we pretty much are not going to be dressing up because we have not thought about what to dress up as and we have no money to buy something for a costume. Unless we can find something around the house we will probably just be lame this year and just have carved pumpkins. Which is at least something Halloweeny!! Then after this week is over and Halloween is past. It will be time for the Christmas stuff to slowy start to come out! Very... slowy since we don't really have anything to decorate our house with, but its the thought that counts. haha! We will have a Christmas tree this year which is very exciting. I will put some pictures up of our pumpkins when we carve them and update more then. But, until then this is pretty much what is going on in my life. Pretty exciting! :-)

Our House and Dental School!

Well we have done a lot of work on our house but we love it. All of the work is basically done we just have to work on the backyard and do some updates when we have the money. But, we love it. It really feels like home to us and that is very nice. I would love to get new carpet because it kind of smells in the living room but we will just have to wait till we have money to be able to do that. Our backyard has huge piles of thorny branches from when we trimmed our trees in the front down when we first moved in, and the grass is pretty dead! So that is our project for the winter. We are enjoying Arizona and have made some good friends!! I wish that the weather would cool down. I dont think it has been cooler than three digits ever since we moved here. Except for one storm we had which cooled the weather down a little bit which was nice. So we just stay in the house or go swimming to stay cool. Brandon started Dental School 2 weeks ago and that is going well. He is getting a little bit stressed because it is a lot of studying and a lot of information to cover in a short amount of time. Oh, and he has a test every Tuesday. So that is a little bit stressful. But he did well on his first test.. he got an 88% which I was proud of him. Of coarse he wished that he did better but he was still happy with it. So Brandon is going to school and I am trying to find a job, which is not going all that well. With the economy the way it is there really is not any employment out there and the places that are hiring don't seem to want to call me back when they tell me they will. So we will just have to see what happens with that. If I do not get a job then I will just work on the house and make sure that dinner is ready when Brandon gets home, and go hangout with the girls when they want to. So other than trying to find a job and not having that much time with Brandon because he is always studying, life is pretty good. It will be even better when the weather cools down and Brandon has a break :-) well here are some pictures!

Getting closer!!

Well, we only have about 3 weeks till be are headed down to Arizona!! I can not wait! It is driving me nuts I can't wait to move on and get to being just Brandon and I and starting our lives together in Arizona!! I am sick of Jamba Juice and so ready to be done working there! Life will be so much better when I am done working there and Brandon and I are heading to Arizona!! Then I can finally get a tan! YAY!!!! Brandon and I can't wait to get into our house and get things set up and looking nice in our home! So many plans, so little money, to long till we move!! Oh well I guess it will happen soon enough so now I just have to keep plugging away and remember that we need to money from working these next couple of weeks!!

Ugh JOBS!!

So I have decided that it is frustrating trying to get a job in another state when I am not there. I really need one so that Brandon and I can get our house. So there is the question do we move down early and try to get a job? Or, do I try to get a job while still living in Idaho Falls and have to drive down probably every other week or who knows how often so that I can get a job? It is so frustrating and we really want our house. But, we dont know what to do. If we move down now than we both wont have a job and wont be making any money just spending it. If we stay here than I run the chances of not being able to get down for an interview to get a job and time is going to run out fast. Man there are so many decisions to make!! Ugh... hahaha I just want to move into our house and start getting settled in to it! Well anyways that's whats going on in my life right now!! So crazy!!!

Well this is our soon to be home as long as the inspection goes well and as long as I can get a job in Arizona so that we can get qualified for a loan! It is a pretty cute home if you ask me haha!

Valentines!

I know it is a little late but Brandon got me these flowers for Valentines day!! They were soo pretty! He suprised me with them the Thursday before Valentines so that I would not be expecting them and they were very pretty!! He also gave me this heart/key necklace which was very pretty. It was really nice coming home after work and seeing these things on the table with a cute love note especially since I was not expecting it!
