A Very Big Day for celebrating!

Well for starters July 8th was Ethan's 3rd birthday!!! I can't believe that he is already 3 years old. Also it was Brandon's first official day of work! Pretty crazy!!! So I had to take a picture of Brandon before he left for work to document it of coarse. He looked so handsome in his work attire (AkA Golf clothes haha). He had a really good day at his first day of work and everyone in the office (staff and boss) told Brandon that they were really excited about how things are going to pan out with the practice now that Brandon is working there. The practice did not have many of the supplies that Brandon needed to do some procedures so he ended up having to send some people away so that they could come back when he had the supplies he needed. But, he is stoked to be working now and actually making money. It is such a different feel now that he is working and not just going to school. Plus he is way more excited to go to work then he was to go to school. Probably because he is now making money and not just spending money! haha Anyways, so that was one part of our excitement.

Now onto the other part of our exciting day. Ethan's 3rd Birthday. Seriously is so crazy to think that I have a 3 year old now. Soon to be in primary. Which is just so crazy to think of. So anyways we started off the day with Ethan watching some cartoons while I baked his cake and did some laundry. Then after Wyatt's nap and lunch, I packed up some lunch for the rest of us and we headed out to the park. We went to a park at Horsetooth which is a really big park with a big splash pad and everything. So we went there so that they could play in the water a little bit. Brandon met us for lunch and Ethan and Wyatt had a blast playing in the water. Then we headed home and the boys took naps while I decorated Ethan's cake and cleaned up the kitchen a little bit. Once they woke up Brandon got home from work and we headed to BJ's for some pizza dinner. Since it was Ethan's birthday he got a free mini pizookie, which was really yummy. Then we headed home to open presents and talk with the grandparents and then to top it off and end the night we had Ethan's birthday cake. So I think it turned out to be a pretty fun birthday for Ethan. He got some training underwear, a rocket for the park, a nerf gun, spider man cup, and a nija turtles basketball arcade hoop thing for in the house. Oh and dont let me forget, he also got his very first Bike!! Pretty fun stuff! I think he was really excited about the bike because he woke up this morning really early and brought it into our room! haha Anyways, here are some pictures from the days adventures!

I spent a good amount of time of this cake but, it was not going to last till the next day because of the way the cake was layered and the filling inside. So why not just have fun destroying it! haha

Ethan LOVES his bike!! For the first few times he would walk his bike around the path most of the way. But, he quickly got the hang of it as I tried helping him learn how to peddle!! He loves riding his bike even though his muscles are not quite strong enough to peddle uphill but he is getting there.
He has just been growing up so much. It feels like just yesterday I was holding him and thinking how small he was. Now he is 3 and riding bikes. He has also become a little terror. They were not joking when they said it was the awful threes. A lot of times I want to pull out my hair because of how disobedient he is and how much he ignores me. Although he makes me crazy some times I still Love this kid with all my heart and still think he is the cutest little boy, along with his brother too of coarse!! It is so much fun being Ethan's mother and I love him so much!
