Back to normal life!

What silly men in my life! Emmett is growing up like crazy! He wants to be like his brother and do everything that everyone else does. He also is such a goof ball. He likes to act like a puppy and whine and bark and crawl around. He also like to squeal and run around and just be crazy! He is so funny!

Giving each other check ups! :-)

I think this kid really thinks that he is a puppy. haha I gave him some mac and cheese in a bowl with a fork, turned around and when I turned back his face was in the bowl. haha I will sometimes find him lying face down on the floor and wondering what he is doing grab him, just to find out that he was trying to eat food that was stuck off the floor.

Poor little Wyatt got sick. Luckily, it only lasted one day and no one else got it!

This is his new favorite face to make when I get my phone out to take a picture! haha

He seriously cracks us up all the time.

The boys wearing their track hats drinking their malts. Reminded us of a picture that Ashley and I took when we were little. Although, we had underwear on our heads and we were eating ice cream out of a bowl. Close enough though! :-)

So this face has a story behind it. We were at target in the check out line. I looked down at Emmett and he was making this face and then he looks away from me and then back and makes the face again. So I look in the direction that he was looking and notice that he was looking at a poster of a women puckering her lips in an add for makeup. haha Emmett was trying to copy her! haha So funny!

We are always excited to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.

Emmett was throwing a tantrum and punched the wall. He didn't like that too much! haha

Ethan laid down and told me to take a picture of him like this! What a nut! haha

"Mom, why would I eat my yogurt when I can paint with it"! haha That is what I see in his little face when he was doing this. haha

Emmetts cute little shoe prints in the snow compared to my one shoe print. I love how tiny his little feet are!

What a stud!

I was going upstairs and Ethan yells to me. I go back downstairs asking what and he is blocking Emmett who is standing on the windowsill. haha I asked how he got up there and Ethan told me that he climbed up all by himself. He had climbed up on the table and then onto the windowsill. I bet I know who taught him how to do that just by example! haha

On a Saturday morning when your kids wake you up too early in the morning and you are grumpy, the best thing to cure the grumpiness is to go get some sugary donuts! :-)

Unloading the dishwasher:

Emmett was so excited to help unload the dishwasher. Ethan and Wyatt do such a good job and Emmett wants to be just like them so of coarse he wanted to join in on the fun!

I took the boys to firehouse one afternoon for lunch. We had done nothing that morning and I thought it would be something fun to do with them. Plus, it is so yummy, and when I mentioned it to Wyatt he ran upstairs and got dressed super fast! haha

I had originally sat Emmett at the table with these peas while I was making mac and cheese. He started to get off the table and carry the peas with him. I knew where he wanted to go so, I picked him up and carried him upstairs so he could watch Wyatt play the Wii. I love that my boys eat peas like popcorn!

When asking what Wyatt wanted for lunch one afternoon he stated that he wanted a chocolate, ham and cheese sandwhich. I think I asked him a few times if that is really what he wanted. When he confirmed I told him that he had to eat it all or he would not get any snacks. The only reason I told him that was because this was a super weird combination and I thought it would be disgusting and I didn't want to have to make him anything else. Well he ate it all. He said he liked it, he didn't really like the ham but he liked the rest! haha Crazy kid!

To end off the month of January we had a play date with a friend of Wyatt's on Monday and on Tuesday we went through the drive thru at Chick fil a for lunch and then went to a gymnastics place in Loveland that had open gym time on Tuesdays. The boys had a lot of fun jumping on the trampolines and jumping into the foam pits. Wyatt got to play with his friends because they were there too. It was a fun afternoon. I feel bad that I didn't get any picture of Wyatt. It is hard to be able to pay attention to Wyatt when I have to pay so much attention to Emmett. I still have not found out how to balance that out yet.

When we got home Wyatt immediately states that he is so sick and that he just wants to watch some T.V. haha After asking me a few times I figured why not. So I turned on some cartoons for just a bit and they sat and ate cereal while watching "Mickey and the Roadster Racers." haha Silly kids! It was a good way to end January!

The last of Christmas Break

The remainder of Christmas break was spent shopping, shoveling snow, playing and just having fun together!

Emmett is so funny! I love that he likes to make faces in mirrors with us! :-)

Ethan was being a good big brother and helping Emmett out while we were walking around kohl's. It was super cute to see them walking hand in hand! :-)

Enjoying some down time while it is cold outside and there isn't anything we had to do!

I'm glad that our boys love to shovel the snow so much. Sure hope that lasts! haha

Ethan's awesome snow angel! :-) It was pretty cold while we were shoveling but it got us out of the house for a little bit.

The Saturday before school started back up Brandon and I got a babysitter for Emmett and took Ethan and Wyatt to the movies to see "Sing". It was fun to just take Ethan and Wyatt to the movies and get popcorn and just have some fun with them. It is hard to pay attention to Ethan and Wyatt and give them the attention they need while Emmett needs so much attention because he is so dependent and always into things and on the move. So it was a much needed outing and the boys loved it. Plus the movie was super cute! It was a great way to end the Christmas break!
