Hello June!

June started out with lots of fun and the temps rising. So here is some fun that we had in the beginning of June.

Kayden having fun pushing his "Yawn nor" around. That is what he calls lawn mowers. Just in case I didn't mention that before. I love that he calls them that. It is so cute!!

Then the boys rode around on roller blades and took turns pulling each other with their bikes.
Kayden even pulled Emmett with his bike. These kids always surprise me with their strength!

A little bit of water fun!

The boys were outside playing and Kayden got a hold of a water gun and started to spray his brothers. It was quite funny because he would do an evil cackle after spraying his brothers and then run to fill back up on his water. So the other boys started to find sprayers and started to spray him as well. Then it was full out war. It was so funny to watch. The boys had a lot of fun and there was a lot of laughter. Brandon even tried to record them and Kayden attacked him as well. So the video did not last long. haha

A little park time on our bike ride.
Then Tyrel and Vandy came in town. They were going to a play in Denver and Brandon threw out that we could babysit for them instead of them trying to arrange and pay for a sitter. So they came out and we watched their kids Friday night that first weekend of June. That night that we were watching the kids our town was putting on an ice cream social. So we braved taking all the kids and walked to the park to get some free ice cream and let them play for a bit. We told the kids that they had to stay together so we didn't lose anyone. Brandon and I stayed with the younger 4 and sent the older 4 off to stick together and have fun.

We didn't lose anyone and it was fun so it was a successful evening.

The next day we headed to our pool.

The water was colder than we anticipated so the kids did not last long. The problem was they made us pay 4 dollars a visitor. So we spend 20 bucks for the kids to complain that it was cold. We made them stick around for about an hour and then called it quits and headed home.

Then I made lemonade with all the kids!

They had fun beating up all the lemons and helping squeeze the lemons as well. The lemonade turned out really tasty and the kids enjoyed it.
Then before we knew it the cousins were gone and we were back to enjoying summer with just our family and getting ready for Emmett's birthday.

This little guy... he is such a goof!! I just love it!! All of our boys are so funny! I do love this age!

We also finally got together with the Ortiz family. It had been a really long time since we had hung out with them. So we planned to go mountain biking with them.

It was hot but super fun! The kids loved it and did a great job! Kayden couldn't get enough of it and is such a little daredevil! Eventually, we will get a video of Kayden on that bike and his excitement going over jumps and other things like that.

Sadly, while we were at a bike park after all the mountain biking Wyatt fell and chunked the palm of his hand. Poor kid was not happy after that. It was bleeding pretty good and it hurt. Someone always seems to get hurt when we go to bike parks. Maybe we need to avoid them for a while again. haha Other than that it was a fun afternoon. We got dinner with the Ortiz's after all that biking fun and went back to their house to play for a little while before taking the kids home to go to bed.

Another pool day. The kids didn't last long this time either. We ended up going to the harmony pool after like 30 minutes. haha The Harmony pool is so nice and warm. So the kids enjoyed that pool a lot more. The pool at Wildwing didn't have their pool heater fixed yet so it was super cold. So we just kept going to the Harmony pool. Since we knew we enjoyed that one.

Out for a walk!

Anytime we go for a walk Emmett will find and gather flowers to give to me. It is so sweet that he thinks of it every time we are outside and he sees flowers.

Sadly, Wyatt fell again on that walk and scratched up his arm. So he was again sad and hurting. Thankfully, this was just his elbow and it was not a bad scratch. The problem was that we were getting close to leaving for Idaho. We were planning on doing a lot of bike riding in Idaho and we didn't want Wyatt to have all these cuts to make bike riding not as fun. So we told him he couldn't get hurt anymore. haha Thankfully, that was the last scratch he got before our trip!
