Finishing up May

 The rest of May was pretty busy. We had only a couple of weeks left of school after Kayden's birthday. Emmett being sick then we had Emmett's kindergarten celebration and the kids last day of school. 

Sick kids are never all that fun. 

Kayden was so happy that he had "Turkey bread" haha 

After a few days of Emmett being home sick he was feeling better. Yet he did not want to go back to school. When I asked him why he didn't want to go back to school he said it was because there were kids that were mean to him. Then he said he didn't want to go because he was afraid his teacher would be mad at him because he was going to be late. The poor kid just didn't want to go back to school and made up lots of excuses to not go. He enjoys being home with me. Which is cute. I do like that he loves to be home with me.

Kayden does not nap at home anymore. So he ends up falling asleep in the car when we go places. haha 

We let Kayden try a black licorice and we expected him to make a funny face. Instead he ended up kind of liking it. haha 

Emmett's kindergarten Celebration!! 

He did such a good job saying his little part. He said he wants to be a Dentist when he grows up! haha 

He did such a good job singing with all the other kindergarteners.

It was fun seeing Emmett all stoked to show me all his stuff he did at school. He has gotten so good at his hand writing. It has been fun to see him improve so much with his reading a writing this year.

Last day of school!!!! 

These boys have all grown so much this year!! 

So has this kid!!! Why wont these boys just stop growing for just a little bit. 

The boys last day of school was a half day. So after the boys got home I took them to firehouse subs for lunch. Ethan went with his friends after school to Smoothie King. They wanted to walk there like big kids. It felt so weird to send him there just with friends. I guess he is getting old enough to start venturing out a little bit. I don't quite feel like he is old enough to do that. haha  

Then we went to Texas Roadhouse with the whole crew. Kayden fell asleep on the way there and Ethan had to carry him in to the restaurant for me. 

I also took Emmett on a one on one. 

Started with breakfast at Chick Fil A which he absolutely loves!! He was so happy when I told him what we were going to do for our one on one. 

After breakfast we went to the elementary school to play for a bit.

We had so much fun and Emmett loved his time on our one on one. 

Then I took the boys to the Harmony pool for the first time for the season.

We had a fun time together! It was a quick afternoon because we planned to go get the boys teeth cleaned afterwards. 

This was Kayden's first time getting his teeth cleaned. He did a great job! He seemed pretty nervous at first but then he was so happy after and kept telling anyone he talked to that his teeth were sparkly. haha It was so cute!!
