A family filled July Part 1

July started off with more family visiting. We figured once we were in the house we would be the spot that people would come for the 4th of July since we have a great view of the fireworks from our backyard. So we kind of just expect it. Well this year we had Tyrel and Vandy, John and Coya, my parents and Tifany and Quinton came as well. I didn't know they were coming until closer to the fourth and then I was just hoping that we could spend some time with at least Tifany and Quinton since we rarely see them. We see Tyrel and Coya and their families all the time. So I was not sure how I would be able to get away and visit with Tifany and her family while they were here as well. Tifany is not the most social when it comes to people she is not used to or doesn't really know. So it made things a little interesting. It was fun to have everyone in town. It was busy that is for sure. We had so many kids running around and still didn't have grass or an official back patio. haha So it made it a little messy again. The kids had a blast and it was a good time. Sadly, Kemry started to not feel well the evening of the fourth and ended up having a fever. Vandy thought that it was just heat stroke but I wasnt' so sure. Well she ended up just being sick. That Sunday night when everyone left Ethan started to not feel well. So Ethan ended up being sick for his birthday. Like really sick! It was probably the flu. It was not good. He and Wyatt both got sick and ended up missing their young mens camp because they were sick. Which also meant that Brandon and I were able to celebrate our anniversary together. The camp was planned for over our annivesary and I was bummed about that. So it ended up working out that the boys were sick and they didn't go. Although, they were pretty bummed that they couldn't go. They had been looking forward to it. What was also lame is that Ethan was sick on his birthday so we decided to wait to celebrate it. We postponed his birthday for about a week. Then when he was finally feeling better we did presents and went out to eat what he wanted to eat and tried to make up for the birthday he missed. With the boys getting sick it made for a little interesting start to the month. When everyone was finally better we tried to get out and have some more fun between the landscapers being at the house and when they were not. We were able to go for a bike ride in Windsor with Brandon's parents too. They came out to serve a mission in Fort Collins. So we were going to be seeing a lot more of them. It was going to be fun to have them around. Also, the pictures on my blog our now going in backyards. So its not necessarily in order. Oh well.... just enjoy the pictures.

Poor sick Ethan. He did not feel good and slept quite a lot!!

Finally made it out to his Birthday breakfast with Papa and Gigi.

We ended up getting rained on while we were on our bike ride in Windsor riding to sonic. It started pouring so we hungout under a bridge for a little while to wait for it to subside.

We had brand new baby bunnies in our garden level basement area. Like so new that they could barely move. They would get up just enough to move to the shade and then plop back down and fall asleep again. They were tiny and Emmett was dying to keep one! haha

Putting our boys to work moving gravel around. Brandon told the landscapers just to pile the pebbles in the basement area and we would have the boys help move it around. The landscaper was a little surprised I do believe. haha

Everyone wanted IN N OUT except for Ethan. He wanted Subway. So we got him Subway and went to IN N OUT for the rest of us. haha
I do have to tell a little story about something stressful that happened after we were out celebrating Ethan's birthday. After eating our yummy food and heading out. Brandon got a phone call from the bank that we were trying to use for our mortgage loan. We were still on our construction loan and we were trying to get it converted over. We were running out of time and the guy at the bank had said we were good. Then all of a sudden he called and told Brandon that they actually need his tax return statement. His projected tax info was not enjough. We had like 4 days till our construction loan was up. We were not sure what was going to happen. The possibility of having our construction loan called (meaning we would owe 1.1 million to the bank). I was starting to worry that we were going to lose our home after just moving in to it. Brandon was stressed trying to figure out how to get our construction loan extended on time and trying to figure out how to get our taxes done earlier than planned so we could get our official mortgage loan done. Needless to say it changed the mood of that day big time!

Emmett also finally had his expander removed! He had been dealing with having an expander and his braces for a few months. Once he got it out he wished he had it back on. haha He said it felt super weird having it out! haha He got used to it really quickly though and then was happy not to have it.

With all the work going on in our backyard it had made it hard to get to the pool as much as we woudl like. Between sick kiddos and landscapers it has been an interesting beginning to July that is for sure!
