Easter!!!

Well this Easter was Ethan's second Easter, but, it was his first one to go hunting for eggs and to help decorate eggs. So it was a big one for him. My parents came out again to enjoy Ethan's first experience with us and my Dad was able to come with my mom this time which was nice. Ethan was so excited when they got there!

It was a great weekend. My parents got here on the Friday before Easter and we went to the park that evening and dyed eggs with Ethan. He LOVED it!! haha He thought dying the eggs was so fun. He did not care to wait for the eggs to sit in the dye for very long so we had to keep telling him to wait. haha Then when it was time to get the eggs Ethan did not hesitate to go for them and grab them right out of the cups. We had one spilling accident because he reached too far and knocked the cup over. Thankfully it did not make too much of a mess. He really liked it though and it was fun to watch how excited he was to put the eggs in the cups and take them out! haha

Of coarse I thought he was going love putting the stickers on the eggs, but, instead he just wanted them on himself! Silly boy! Haha

Then on Saturday the Easter bunny had dropped off all of the eggs in the backyard so after Breakfast and after Brandon got home from choir practice we went out in the backyard for Ethan's first experience with hunting for easter eggs! :-) Luckily my mom took charge of the camera and so we had a ton of pictures! It was so hard to not put all of them on here so here is a really good chunk! They were all just too cute to not use! haha

Oh and I have to say he was not quite sure what to do at first. In fact he past up the very first egg that was right in front of him.
He wanted this one first and this one he got open super fast and.....
ate the candy! haha
Then he was really excited to find these eggs and other goodies that were outside! haha

Now that is a very determined face! haha
Little did Brandon know... but the Easter Bunny brought him something too. So he had to go find his basket that the Easter Bunny had hid for him! :-) That tricky Easter Bunny! haha
Such a cute little face. He was being so patient for the egg to be opened so he could eat all the yummy goodies inside! :-)

He wasnt too sure about the chocolate egg until he tasted it. Then he was all about it!

He enjoyed all the candy he got to eat. He ate more candy for Easter than he did for Halloween. haha He sure did LOVE the starburst jelly beans and of coarse all the other candy!

Later that afternoon we let Ethan go swimming in his little pool!

He had fun trying to get papa wet! haha

What a silly face!!! He really wanted the graham cracker!! haha
So very yummy!!
Then on Easter Sunday we got up and went to church. Brandon and I had to give talks in Sacrament meeting so my parents were able to watch Ethan for us while we gave our talks. Then after when we were getting Easter dinner ready (honey glazed ham, twice baked potatoes, salad and deviled eggs) Ethan put my shoes on and started walking around. He thought it was so cool that they made a tapping noise when he walked! haha Silly boy!! Then Brandon's brother Jason came over for dinner as well. After dinner Jason left and then we played one more game of Rummi with my parents and ate some dessert and then they took off to go back home. Ethan was really sad when they were leaving. He almost cried!! It was so cute!! So our Easter weekend was a lot of fun!! It turned out really great and we made a lot of fun memories!!
