Our life as a family of 5

So we arrived home Tuesday evening and my mom went to Costco to get some food for dinner. She came back with a ton of food which actually was really nice because I was able to grab a quick lunch during the day instead of having to make something for myself as well as for the boys. After eating some dinner and the boys playing for a bit it was bedtime. The next day was my moms last day here with us. It was a rough day. It started out with Emmett having a really rough night and then the boys being up super early and grumpy. Then the whole day seemed like it was spent with me trying to nurse Emmett and him being upset. Plus he had not peed since we were at the hospital the day before. So I was worried as to why he had not peed and he had pooped one tiny poop that tuesday night. It was a rough day. Then while my mom and I were home with the boys and Brandon was out to lunch with someone from work we were changing his diaper just to change it and see if maybe there was a tiny bit of pee. I noticed something on the tip of his little peeker so I got a wipe and tried cleaning it off. As soon as I cleaned it off Emmett peed like a fire hose. It was a ton of pee!! We came to the conclusion that that was why he had such a rough night. He had been wanting to pee but had been blocked off so he was probably in some pain! Poor little buddy! He still had a rough time peeing and pooping for the next few days. He would pee probably once in a 24 hour period. It would be a ton but very concentrated! It was making me really worried and I did not like it one bit. Anyways, so that Wednesday night my mom had to be taken back to the airport to head back to Cali! I was so sad to see her go but since Ashley was getting married the next week I knew she couldn't stay any longer. Of course some tears were shed but, I was so thankful that she was able to be there to meet little Emmett and she was such a big help while we were in the hospital! The next day Brandon had to go back to work! Yikes!! That was a long day for all of us! haha

First time at home in his swing!! He is so tiny!!!

Just love this scrunchy little face!

Weird to post yes but this was what I saw in one diaper. Scared my like crazy!! Luckily I have a husband that likes to do his research and he reassured me that it was not blood but that because of how concentrated his pee was right now it was getting this red brick dust stuff in it because of some crystallization! Luckily this never happened again and he started to have regular pees shortly after this! I was super happy when he was peeing 12 or more times each day!

Can't get enough of this sweet little boy!

Our boys have been getting bug bites all the time lately! Probably mosquito bites, but man do they look awful and they hurt and itch the boys! I noticed this on Wyatt's arm one of the days Brandon was working. It was hot to the touch and got me super worried. So besides worrying about little Emmett and trying to get nursing under control with him and then seeing this on Wyatt's arm while Brandon was at work for a 12 hour day I was having a hard time emotionally. I wanted Brandon to come home so bad just so that I could have some emotional support during that day and have someone to just hug me and tell me it was all going to be fine. Luckily we put some hydro on a bandaid and let it soak and that helped a ton. Now if we can just get these mosquitos to stop biting my boys that would be great!

Ethan and Wyatt love their little baby brother. They think he is so funny when he looks at them or makes his zoo lander face and crosses his eyes! haha They also like to hold him sometimes and always say how we have to be careful with him because he is special! :-)

These are flowers that my mom and dad got me after having little Emmett!

Sweet little feet!

5 days old at this point!

Seriously just love this little guy so much!!

Getting some fresh air. Letting the boys play in the pool in our backyard.

Love my 3 boys!

Our boys always have a couple of pictures where they look like little grandpa's! haha

Trying to catch a toot smile!

He looks like he is praying!

Toot smile!!! :-)

Went on a family outing to Firehouse! Yum!!

Then the movies!

The boys love going to the movies and eating as much popcorn as their little bodies will hold! haha We went and saw "Inside Out". It was super cute. Emmett slept through the whole thing and the boys loved the movie!

 Such a goof ball! haha

8 Days old and getting so much loving!
Ethan loves to hold Emmett. He will go and wash his hands and then ask if he can hold him. He also thinks it is fun to just look at him when his eyes are open! Emmett is sure getting a lot of love around here from everyone!! We sure do love having little Emmett around! :-)
