Christmas Eve Festivities

We started Christmas Eve off right by going and getting donuts. The boys were so excited. Then after hanging out and playing at home we headed to an early dinner at On the Border. After grabbing some dinner we made some Ginger Bread (graham cracker) houses and did a quick simple craft before the elves dropped off the mix for Santa's cookies. After making cookies we chatted with Grandpa and GiGi and we got to watch Grandpa send the boys letters up the chimney to Santa's workshop. It was a pretty exciting night. The boys loved watching the letters goes shooting up the chimney and being able to eat one of Santa's cookies when they were done. It was a very successful Christmas Eve and I think we all had a fun time together.

Brandon said that I won our contest! :-) haha

Ethan didn't want to put cotton balls on his Santa...

Wyatt decided to he wanted them all. haha Its a new game.. where is Santa? haha
What a fun day we had and the boys were so excited for Christmas morning to come and to see what Santa would bring them.

Then to end the night off the boys opened their first Christmas present.

Wyatt was pretty excited about his Captain America ornament. He always goes back and forth with what super hero is his favorite. However, Captain America has been the one that he has liked by far the most. The other ones he will pretend to be every once in a while, but, Captain America is who he wants to be about 90% of the time! :-)

Ethan was so funny. He opened his ornament up and was all, "awww..." haha so I guess he really liked his ornament of a school but with his picture in it. :-)

Then as a special treat Ethan gave Daddy and I his present he made for us at school.

What a cutie pie!! :-)
Our very first ornament made by one of our kids! Pretty fun if you ask me!

Well after that the kids were off to bed to dream of sugar plums... or just all the presents they were going to get in the morning!
While Brandon and I enjoyed watching Miracle on 34th St. and getting the rest of our Christmas stuff ready before we headed off to bed to let Santa come to town! :-)

The Sunday-Wednesday before Christmas

We have all been excited for Christmas to come and we finally got all the boys ready for church all Christmasy and they all looked so handsome. Although we forgot to spike the boys hair and Wyatt reminded us about 5 times on the way to church that we forgot to spike his hair. He was pretty upset with us! haha

Emmett looked so handsome, even though I am not a fan of sweater vests it still looked cute on him.

Our boys looked so studly for Church that Sunday. I love it when we get them all dressed up for Sunday. They just look so stinking cute.

For FHE that week we went out to see Christmas lights. First we headed out and got some treats at 7-11 and then headed to drive around for a little bit to see some Christmas lights. It was a successful family night! Wyatt kept changing his mind while at 7-11. First he wanted ice cream, then he decided he wanted a slurpee so I filled a cup up with the one he wanted and then he decided as soon as that was filled up he decided he wanted me to have it so that he could have ice cream! haha What in the world!! haha Then after Wyatt got his way with changing his mind Ethan said that he wanted to have ice cream instead. Which I told him that was not going to happen since he had already drinken half of his slurpee! Man indecisive kids... where do they even get that from!?!! haha

To continue the fun of that Christmas week.. the boys and I headed out Tuesday morning to go to Chick fil a because they were doing free breakfast entree's each Tuesday that month. So I thought they would have fun with that and the did. They boys had a blast playing and eating some chicken for breakfast. Plus one of Ethan's friends from school was there and he played with her for a while and then told me he wanted to go over to her house when school started again! haha

I don't think Emmett was having as much fun. Especially since he couldn't even enjoy the yummy chicken!! Oh well... someday my child, someday! haha
Right after Chick fil a we headed to Hobby lobby to grab a few things and the boys were having fun racing around Hobby Lobby with their baskets! haha

Just another little Christmas craft to get ready for Christmas!
So much fun together waiting for Christmas to arrive.
