Our awesome Thanksgiving week!

For Thanksgiving this year we actually had family come visit us. It was great!! Brandon's parents and sister Coya and her family came to visit for Thanksgiving. They all headed for our house the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We were excited and got the house all ready for them to arrive. Brandon's parents however, got held up about 2 hours from our house in traffic because of Semi crashes and the road ended up getting closed down after they sat waiting for over 2 hours. So they ended up having to turn around and stay the night in Rawlins until the road opened back up. Luckily the roads opened early the next morning so they were able to get here before we left for church. John and Coya made it here around 7 Saturday night. Sunday Ethan had his primary program at church so that was cool to have some of Brandon's family here to see that. Ethan did a great job with his part. He went up and said it all by himself without any help! He does such a great job on his parts during the primary programs. Last year after Ethan said his part he walked right off the stage to give Brandon a high five and then headed back on stage. It was so funny!! He didn't do it this year but he sure does smile at us after he gets back to his seat. The kids were having a blast having each other around. Monday I headed out with Coya and Brandon's mom to get all of our Thanksgiving grocery shopping done. The rest of the day was spent with just the kids playing and having blast. Tuesday John and Coya headed off to the Temple and Brandon's Dad went golfing (since Brandon was working). So Brandon's mom and I played with the kids. Then that evening the family all went to see Dr. Murri to get their teeth cleaned. Wednesday Brandon had work off and he went and his Dad went golfing together and then we hung around the house and the kids continued to play and have fun. Thursday was full of fun. Coya had made Turkey cookies that we were able to paint and then eat if we wanted to. She also put together a bingo game and a hide and seek for feathers. John and I took the kids outside to play in the snow for a little while and they had a blast. Then we ate some Turkey dinner and relaxed. Friday we went to see the Movie the Good dinosaur and then came back home and played. Saturday was the last hurrah. Everyone left on Sunday morning. If was a fun filled week of lots of games, cousins playing, relaxing and eating!! We were so glad we had family here for the Holiday this year. It made it seem more like a Holiday. Fun times!!!

The cousins eating their first dinner of the week all together! :-)

Park Time!

Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to the park a few times! They had so much fun!

Playing super hero's in the basement!

Emmett looks like a cabbage patch doll! haha He is such a cutie!!

The kids had fun playing with Clisby and letting him in and out of his cage.

Emmett hanging out with his Grandpa and Grandma Murri.

Mady and Ethan decided to look through my blog books while we were just hanging out. haha

Making her cookies.

We headed to Target one evening to look around for Christmas present ideas. They had this princess mirror thing and it took your picture. Wyatt thought it was funny. I don't think the dress fits him! haha

Emmett loving up on his food! Yummy rice cereal with prunes! haha

Happy Thanksgiving!

Getting the Turkey prepped.
Coya had a Turkey glove! Gross! haha

Painting our cookies...

It was a hit. Thanks Coya!!

All ready to go play in the snow! What cuties!

Nothing better than eating snow!haha

No Wyatt did not fall. He kept laying down eating more snow! haha

The demolished Turkey. haha

Yummy Thanksgiving Dinner.. These kids are so funny!

After dinner movie and games!

So much fun!

Oh ya so earlier in the day us adults were watching a movie Jack Reacher (not a kid movie). So we sent the kids downstairs to play while we finished watching the movie. Ethan than tells Brandon, "We are supposed to spend time with family on Thanksgiving." haha Ya we kind of felt bad that we were sending the kids downstairs to play so we could watch a movie on Thanksgiving morning. So we made up for it by playing games with them pretty much the rest of the day.

Thanks to Costco for providing the pies! haha One less thing to cook on Thanksgiving.

This was our Thankful Turkey. For about 3 weeks we tried to put something we were thankful for on a feather and then put it on the Turkey. He got pretty big! I think we will do this again next year as well.

Playing Bingo. Coya had prizes for the kids too and they were super excited about that. haha

Going to see the "Good Dinosaur" at our new Theatre. Our new theatre is super nice. Plus it has reclining chairs which is pretty much the best thing ever!! haha

Friday night we got a babysitter and the adults all went to Nordy's barbecue for dinner. It was fun to just go out with the adults and eat some yummy barbecue. We brought Emmett with us but, we don't mind he is not too much trouble yet! haha

He is so cute!!
After dinner we went to Freddy's to for some frozen custard and then went home to play some games!

Thanksgiving week was a fun week. We played lots of games, ate way too much food and had lots of laughs. We are so glad that we had some of Brandon's family come visit. We are looking forward to this coming summer when we have everyone here for our first family reunion. Although I think we will be moving Emmetts crib into our room because he seems to like his crib better than a pack n play. He did not sleep very well the whole week of Thanksgiving. Doesn't help that he was getting a cold but still he goes to sleep so much faster and better when he is in his crib. When he was in his pack n play we would have to rock him to sleep and he kept waking up. As soon as everyone left and we moved him back into his crib all we had to do was put him in with his binkie and he would go to sleep. Silly kid!! Oh and he rolled over from back to tummy for the first time the day before Thanksgiving and did it a few more times that day. I think he likes being able to roll over onto his tummy even though he can't seem to manage rolling back over to his back. haha He is so silly!! Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving!! :-)
