Pool Time

After Ethan got home from school on one a Friday we decided to go have a fun family afternoon and go to the Greeley Fun Plex and go swimming. The boys were super excited. So we ate lunch packed up and headed out. All 3 of our boys had a blast swimming around. Wyatt as usual took off by himself at one point because he wanted to go into the lazy river. Of coarse Brandon and I did not know this and so when Brandon came back from the other side of the kiddy pool I asked him where Wyatt was and he didn't know so we started looking around a little worried since he could have been anywhere and we were at a pool. Luckily I looked over and saw Wyatt's head bob up in the lazy river right after he jumped in. He was all smiles looking at everyone else in the pool. I went over and got him out and had a talk with him about how he can't just take off where ever he wants to without telling us. The rest of the time was fun and the boys didn't want to leave when it was time to go but Emmett was up way past nap time and he was ready to sleep. Although, Emmett had a complete blast playing in the water as well. He was kicking and splashing the whole time we were there. I got him out of the pool one time to warm him up because he started shivering and then he was getting mad at me because he wanted to go back in the water and I was holding him back! haha So he enjoyed it as much as Ethan and Wyatt did. haha We will be going back before summer starts that is for sure! :-) 

Our boys are such water lovers! We had such a fun afternoon. It is so nice to spend an afternoon every once in a while that is just fun with the kids and not worrying about my to do list at home! Love the time we get to spend together having fun!

While Brandon and I were on a date one night our babysitter had the boys heart attack our room. It was so cute!! I LOVED it! They were so excited about to have us see what they did. It was such a cute thing for our babysitter to do with our boys. She is a keeper! haha 

The rest of these pictures of just some fun pictures of Emmett. I need to be better at taking pictures of all my boys so I can keep putting cute and funny pictures of them on here but for now I had to add some of little Emmett. 

He LOVES to suck on my string on my jacket! haha Any chance he gets he grabs the string and starts to chew on it. He goes between the jacket string and my sweatpants strings. haha 

He is a pro at sitting up now and moves all over the place while he is sitting up. He can change positions while sitting pretty well these days. 

He aslo has just gotten into pulling at his hair. I don't know why he is doing this lately but he just grabs onto his hair on the back of his head and pulls on it! Silly kid! 

Oh ya, and he has his bottom 2 front teeth in now! So crazy!! 

We also got out to the park one afternoon and I let Emmett sit in the swing for the very first time. 

He thought it was pretty fun! He was all smiles and giggles while I pushed him softly! haha 

These pictures were just funny to Brandon and I. We were downstairs getting ready to watch a movie. Emmett was not ready to go to bed yet so we just brought him downstairs with us. We sat him on the floor and the screensaver was going on the T.V. He kept looking at us and squealing and then the screen would change and he would turn around and look at the T.V and then turn and look at us and get all excited! He was having so much fun it was so cute! 

Valentines Weekend

Valentines was on a Sunday this year and instead of going out on a date just Brandon and I, we went to a Valentines party that our friends invited us to. The coats planned a fun filled night or games and food. We had a blast playing some fun games and eating a bunch of yummy food. I was in charge of dessert and I made my first every Triffle and it turned out super yummy. Anyways, before going to the party on Friday night Brandon and I went running and got the house cleaned up and then took the boys to lunch at McDonalds (which they think is the coolest because you get a toy in your meal). The rest of the weekend was not super eventful. We cleaned the house and hung out together and Sunday we went to church and had a yummy steak dinner. 

Nothing better than some Beautiful flowers and some yummy chocolate covered strawberries from my hubby. He must really love me! 

I seriously am so lucky!! I have the best husband and best friend around. He is so considerate of me and the boys and always shows us so much love. He cares so much about what I think and how I feel and I couldn't have asked for a more caring and loving companion to spend all of life and Eternity with! He is my soul mate and I feel so lucky to have him for ever. I love him so much!! Happy Valentines Day! 

Another snow day

So we have not gotten all that much snow this year. It has come in big spurts. I think last year we got a little bit of snow quite a few days. Which also meant that the little bit of snow would melt away pretty fast. We have had 2 big snow storms where it has dumped about a foot or more in one night. So those snow storms have caused snow days. This time however, Brandon didn't get to have a snow day as well. So it was just the boys and I hanging out at home. We were going to go to the Discovery Museum with some friends but we found out right before leaving that it was closed. Since there was nothing else to really do we just hung out at home and then went to Costco. What better way to spent a snow day right!?! haha 

Emmett got to sit in the cart with Ethan and he got tired by the end and started to lay down on Ethan! haha At least it was fun while it lasted! haha Yay for snow days and just hanging out and just doing what we want! haha 

Loving my life (January 16-30th)

This winter has been a lot harsher than the last 2. We have not had many nice days over the past couple of months. Normally in the winter we will have a week of cold weather and then it will get back up to high 40's for a week or two before it drops again. This winter just seems to be staying colder for longer. We have only dropped into the negative maybe once or twice but it is just staying in the low 30's to high 20's for a while. So life around here has been pretty much the same. We hangout in the house and go to McDonalds and or Chick-fil-a to play. We are looking forward to some nicer weather soon. 

So here are some pictures of our winter life! haha 

We have been trying to get Wyatt to fully potty train. He did great when we had Emmett and now he just doesn't care to go pee in the toilet. He goes poop in the toilet every time but he just doesn't care anymore to go pee in the toilet. He would rather play. So we have been trying to keep him naked at home so that he has to go pee in the toilet. It normally works great and one day I told him that if he didn't have an accident all day that we would take him to McDonalds to get ice cream. He finally did it.... and then peed his pants while we were at McDonalds. We just don't know what to do with him. He just doesn't care right now and he is 3 and a half. It is time to be potty trained but what can you do when he doesn't really want to now. So frustrating!

Nothing better than playing hopscotch in the basement. 

The temp finally got to the 30's so we decided to go out for a walk. Ya it was a lot colder than I thought it was going to be. Emmett had fun though, even though his hands were little popsicles by the time we got back home. 

The boys were so excited to be outside riding scooters and bikes even though it was actually really cold outside. haha We only made it around the neighborhood one time and then went back inside.

Wyatt was playing the piano and singing to Emmett one morning. Emmett really enjoyed it. haha He just kept watching Wyatt and getting all excited! 

I love it when all of my boys look so handsome in their Sunday best. I finally went through the boys clothes and pulled out this studly number to put on Emmett. He looks so cute in this little getup! 

Then one Saturday the Brandon took the boys to an "Avengers Live" in Denver. I went along for the ride but didn't go with them. Brandon had gotten the tickets from his partner who couldn't use them so we just had to buy one more ticket for Wyatt and they all got to go. It was like a Disney on ice except for Avengers not on Ice. haha They had a bunch fun. 

While they were watching the Avengers I headed to IKEA with Emmett and walked around for like 2 hours. haha 

 It made for a long afternoon but we ended off the night right by going to Nordy's Barbecue for dinner. It was delicious!! 

I had to post a picture of this because Ethan is getting so much better at cutting things out. He even traced the scissors just so he could cut them out! haha Silly kid!! 

Anyways, there is some of the fun we have been having lately. We can't wait for summer!!!
