Wyatt's very FIRST field trip!

Since Wyatt is in preschool now he was able to go on his very first field trip. We went to a farm and got to go on a hayride, pick a pumpkin and play at the little park that they had at the park. Wyatt had a blast and was so excited to go on his first field trip.

The girl Wyatt is sitting next to is Ruby. He loves playing with Ruby at school and is always talking about her. It was so funny to watch how he acted around her. He was acting like everything was so dumb and that he was too cool for all of it! haha It was so funny!

We sat next to Ruby and Wyatt kept saying, "this is boring." or "this is dumb isn't it?" haha He was trying to act so cool in front of her! haha

He was super excited to pick his own pumpkin until he grabbed the stem and there were spikes all over it! 

What a perfect pose.. and I didn't even tell him how to sit! He is a natural! :-)

We had a fun morning making sure the chickens didn't get too close, pumpkin picking, a hay ride and some park time. I was so glad that I got my friend to watch Emmett while I took Wyatt so that I could have some one on one time with Wyatt. It was nice to be able to have that time to just pay attention to Wyatt on his first field trip. 

After that we headed out to grab a couple things at Costco and to eat some pizza before heading to pick up Emmett. It was a fun morning just me and my little Wyatt!!

Painting

I decided that it was time to make some edible paints and let the kids do some painting. I don't think Emmett has ever painted before. So it was time let the artists in them out. Emmett had fun with it but ended up thinking it was way more fun to paint himself. haha Wyatt was being very careful and wanted to paint some cheetah's. He was so excited to paint. It had been quite a while and I think it was worth it. Didn't last very long but at least they had fun!

He was so proud of himself for painting himself. haha He seemed to like painting himself more than the paper! haha

After a little while of painting with a paint brush I mentioned painting with his hands. At first he didn't really like it but after a little while he thought it was pretty fun.

Wyatt painted this and he said that they were cheetah turtles.haha He said that they were cheetahs but with shells so that if a shark came by they could just disappear into their shells and be safe. haha

After painting and bathing Emmett Wyatt decided to tape these streamers on his ears and run around. haha

It has been pretty cold and Wyatt decided that he wanted to get outside and practice golfing. It was barely 40 degrees outside and he wouldn't put on a jacket!

I was FREEZING and yet he wouldn't put a jacket on. haha

He is a silly kid! 

I have been pretty lame lately and not wanting to do much or play with the kiddos. I'm trying to break out of the funk that I am in so we are trying to do some other things like getting out of the house or other things to have a little more fun.
