Happy 5th Birthday to Wyatt

Its official my little Wyatt has turned 5!!! How did that happen?? It seems like just yesterday I was on the chopping block getting sliced open for a C-section. He had the most perfectly round head and the most non existent little bum. Now he still has a very round and now he has a very round bum. He is still my tender hearted little boy. Although, this year he has been more defiant and disobedient. I have not enjoyed his disobedient self that has come out lately but he still is a very sweet little boy for the most part. It has been weird having Wyatt be so much more difficult these days. I have always had an easy time enjoying him because he never really wanted to push my buttons. So it is weird to have contention between us and I am hoping that it is a short lived phase so he can get back to being my easy Wyatt. He still thinks of others and wants to make people happy and is kind and loving, he just has a harder time being obedient right now. He is loving going to preschool and learning his letters more. He is so excited to learn and wants to be able to read. I am hoping that this excitement for learning continues so that he will be easier than Ethan was in kindergarten with the work load that they get. Anyways, Wyatt's birthday was a good day. First, the boys actually slept past 7!! It was a miracle!!! So I was up before they were and then I had Wyatt color his birthday crown. Then we took Ethan to school because Ethan missed the bus since I had to wake him up and he was really grumpy. So we dropped Ethan off at school late and then headed to get donuts. The donut shop that we normally go to was closed for some odd reason so thankfully dunkin donuts was just down the street a little bit. So we grabbed some donuts and then headed home to eat them with Daddy. Brandon had stayed home from work because he was sick. So we took him home a donut. Then we grabbed taco bell for lunch because that is what Wyatt wanted after wanting a grilled cheese sandwich and we didn't have any bread. haha So he wanted a quesadilla which worked out because by the time we went for lunch we didn't have much time before Wyatt's preschool started. So we grabbed some lunch and took it back to eat it outside and let him and Emmett play for a little bit before going to school. Then after preschool we relaxed a little bit and called Grandpa and GG so we could sing to Grandpa since its his birthday too and then waited for Ethan to get home. Once Ethan got home we headed out to go to Chucke cheese. We played at Chucke Cheese for like 2 hours and then headed to PF Changs for some dinner before heading home for presents and bed time. It was a pretty full day and the boys were tired by the end of it!

This kid... he cracks us up all the time. He is such a funny boy and it is crazy how big he is getting.

Wyatt's bike tire was needing to be repaired so we couldn't go for a bike ride to school like we usually do. He was pretty excited to ride the 4 wheeler to school and Emmett was even more excited to be able to ride it home.

Afte Ethan got home we went to Chuck e Cheese and played for a long time. We got 200 points to play with and it took us 2 hours to use it up. Anywhere else we go it takes up like 20 minutes to go through 40 bucks worth of credit and we figured it would be the same here. Every game was only worth 1 point. So we played a lot of games! haha At least Wyatt got to play everything he wanted to. Normally we don't play racing games because you don't get any tickets for them but, this time we let him play whatever he wanted.

We ended up earning 800 tickets which was crazy!!! So each of the boys got to pick something they wanted and then we got a bunch of tootsie rolls!

When we got to PF Chang's we ordered our food as soon as we knew what we wanted and then waited for a while for it to come. Wyatt kept whining that he was so hungry! We were all super hungry but he was so upset and pouty because he was hungry.

They sure were happy when our food finally arrived!

Then they brought out a little birthday dessert and we sang Happy Birthday to him. He was pretty excited!!

We all ate a little bit of it and then let Wyatt finish it off. Emmett was pretty upset that he didn't get to eat all that he wanted. He kept wanting more and Brandon had to stop him which brought on a melt down. haha So we finished up and got out of there before any other melt downs could happen.

Present Time!!
We got home and I had to wrap up the presents still. Then it was time to let Wyatt open them up.

He got some awesome stuff from Great Grandma Huntsman and Grandma and Grandpa Murri.

Then Emmett gave him his present.

Wyatt was so stoked about getting a electronic puppy! He was flipping out! haha He said he wanted one of them so bad. Although he has never seen these before or ever mentioned wanting a fake puppy. haha

Then Wyatt opened his present from Ethan. He was excited to have a "blaze" remote control car.

Grandpa and GG got him a Power Ranger costume which he was super excited about!

Then Brandon and I had him open our present from him. He opened it up and we acted all proud that we had gotten him some new underwear. He did his best to act grateful and happy that we got him underwear. Once we mentioned that we had a different and better present he agreed that underwear was not the best present to get from us! haha So we told him he had to go look upstairs for it.

He was so happy to get new golf clubs!!

We got a much better reaction from him with these golf clubs than the underwear! haha
After trying his clubs out just to see how the length fit him it was time to get ready for bed. I told Wyatt that he could try out his toys one time before going to bed. Sadly, they all need AAA batteries which we did not have any of. So he went off to bed a little bummed. I told him that we could go get batteries in the morning. That made him a little happier! I still can't believe that our little Wyatt is 5 years old! How can time go by so fast? We sure do love our little Wyatt and feel so blessed to have him in our lives! Lastly, I have to mention one funny thing he said a couple of weeks ago. We were driving home from church and talking about Wyatt's primary teacher who is having twin girls. Ethan then says, "how does that even happen?" So I just said, "It's a miracle." Then Wyatt says, "Jesus shoves the babies in your mouth right before you take a big bite of food."haha Oh the thoughts of a 5 year old!! :-) It was so funny to hear his explanation of how babies get inside a mommy! haha
