Let 2020 begin!!

I started 2020 off with some cuddles from my little Kayden. I have LOVED his little cuddles at night after he drinks a bottle. I really don't want them to stop. I know soon he will be old enough that he won't need a bottle later at night so for now I am enjoying snuggling with this little guy.

He is just so sweet when he is fast asleep on me.

During the day on January 1st we got outside for just a little bit. The older boys wanted to play on scooters and roller blades so I took Kayden outside to get some fresh air.

Look at that cute little boy!! He still keeps beanies on his head which is super nice when it is cold out.

Brandon even got out with the boys on his roller blades. They kids were super excited to have Dad outside with them.

That night after getting the boys to bed Brandon and I enjoyed some Nordy's and soda while watching the new Aladdin movie. It was a good end to our first day of 2020.
Also, Kayden decided that he was going to start rolling both ways on January 1st. He had been only rolling to his left back to tummy and tummy to back since Christmas and on January 1st he was officially rolling both ways and was going everywhere. haha

Ethan has been such a good big brother to Kayden. They all just love being around Kayden and helping him with things. It has been super cute!

We also started a family New Years Resolution.

We are trying to be better with reading our scriptures everyday. So we made paper chains to help the boys

We all had a great time. Ethan and Wyatt got the hang of it pretty fast. Probably because of their roller blades. Emmett took a while but he eventually was able to go a little bit on his own with the help of a bucket. haha It was a fun afternoon and the weather was fantastic!!
After a fun after noon we decided to take the kids out for dinner. We went to Outback Steakhouse.

The food was ok. Kayden enjoyed the potato soup. He was so tired and had not gotten a very good nap in so the poor little guy was exhausted. Thankfully he handled being at the restaurant fairly well. Most likely because I was feeding him potato soup. haha

It is fun being goofy with the kids every so often. Kayden didn't seem to know what to do seeing himself in the camera. haha

Then January 4th Ethan had basketball tryouts. It made for a crazy evening because Brandon had a meeting that night as well so I had to take all the boys with me.

Kayden was having a hard time with being there. He didn't want to drink his bottles and was so tired. It was not the best situation.

Ethan had fun running the drills but he seemed kind of nervous about the whole thing.

Wyatt and Emmett had fun playing with whatever they could find.

I was also able to pick up Wyatt's medal from his basketball season that his coach had given to the kids. Wyatt was stoked!!

Kayden was so stinking cute playing with his buckles and his sloth. I was just glad that he finally was happy in his car seat. It was getting really tiring holding him. haha Once try outs were over I was so glad to get home and then Brandon got home and was able to help put the kids to bed. Then it was finally time to relax a little bit.
