Easter Weekend!!

Easter weekend was spent watching conference, dying Eggs, hunting for Easter baskets and Easter eggs as well as eating too much food! haha

Apparently, our couch isn't big enough for all of us. haha The kids set up their spots to watch conference with their blankets all spread out so that they could lay down on the couch. We had to tell them they couldn't take up the whole couch. haha They were giving us the corner of the couch. haha Silly kids!

Dying Eggs!!

We knew that Kayden would be a disaster when it came to dying eggs so we planned to do it out in the backyard and to strip him down. Thankfully, the weather was super nice and we were able to do so because Kayden was exactly how we thought he would be. He was everywhere and super messy!! haha

Kayden wanted to eat an egg so we peeled one for him.

Ya... he was not a fan!!! haha

The other boys enjoyed trying to make their eggs look nice.

Kayden just wanted to put every egg in every cup he could. That and pour the liquid in each cup. haha

The result of Kayden putting his hands into every cup of coloring!! haha

I love watching the boys play with Kayden and help him out on the trampoline.

After some trampoline fun they boys decided it was hot enough to play in the water.

It was nice a warm but I didn't think it was quite hot enough to play in the water. They had fun though and thats all that matters.

Easter Morning!!
Easter morning the boys were so excited that the Easter bunny had come and couldn't wait to find their baskets. Brandon told them that they could go ahead and find their baskets. After 5 minutes they came back in our room and said that they needed clues. They sure were not patient for very long. haha Normally they hunt for a little while before they need any clues. Not this year. So Brandon and I decided to get up and watch them hunt and try to help them if they needed it. Once Kayden woke up we got him out of bed and helped him find his. At first we said, "Kayden lets find your basket!" So he looked under the ottoman. haha I didn't think he was going to understand what was going on but he seemed to understand more than I thought.

That happy face says it all!! He was so excited about his basket. What was even better was when he realized there was candy in his squirt gun. He squealed, "ANDY!!" behind his binkie! haha It was so cute!!

Emmett was having a rough morning and was super upset that he couldn't find his basket.

Happy little boy with his candy!

Ethan was super grumpy that morning because Wyatt found his basket and he had told Wyatt not to find it. So he got all upset and stormed off to his room. Then when he finally came back down we told him he should try to help Wyatt find his because Wyatt couldn't find it. As soon as Ethan found Wyatt's we told him that they were even now because they had both found each others. Needless to say it was a great way to start the morning. We always love waking up to boys throwing tantrums and slamming doors!
It' the BEST!

Emmett was happier once Brandon helped him find his.

Then it was open everything up and start eating candy at 8 in the morning! haha

Kayden got a bubble blower in his basket that throws out a ton of bubbles really fast. It is smaller than our other one and yet blows bubbles way better!

Then Brandon had to find his basket. He was surprised to find the candy "Chicks and Rabbits" We had looked at the store and didn't see any. So he was pretty stoked that he had some in his basket!

Ethans colored egg that went through the shell. Ethan said, "Mom, look it looks like a man!" haha

Then after some tasty breakfast casserole and monkey bread we watched some conference. After Kayden's nap we let the boys do a little egg hunt!

They boys ran as fast as they could to get their eggs. The older boys kept grabbing the eggs that were on the grass that we had put out for Kayden to get. We had to tell them to put those ones back and leave them for Kayden. Kayden seemed to enjoy it a little bit. He wasn't super in to it. He was sure excited to more candy to eat though!

We finished off our Easter Sunday with some more conference and a tasty dinner of Ham, rolls, twice baked potatoes, jello and deviled eggs. It was a good Easter Sunday!
