Our last hurrahs before school begins

The kids were set to start school on August 16th. We had our Bell reunion in St. George the Wednesday before the kids started school. So we tried to squeeze some more fun in before the Reunion and before school started.

Went to the driving range with the boys.

Went to our lot again. The plumber has started laying water lines.

These sewer tubes will need to be cut down and capped off in our grass. I wish they were not going to be in our grass. We will have to figure something out.

Proof that we most likely have raccoons in the area.

There was so much mud because of the rain we had gotten. The boys had a blast getting their feet all muddy and making mud piles.

They also love making seats and other things in our dirt hill. They are going to miss this massive dirt hill when we level out our yard.

Since we love to go on bike rides with the kids we decided it would be fun to do one last big bike ride before Summer break was over. So we parked off of Drake and rode our bikes to Kilwins and Fort Fun.

Fort Fun was a good time as always. Then we had to stop at Kilwins since it is now open again. The problem with this specific stop is that the owner was there. We all picked our ice cream and then ate it outside. The owner came out and was giving us chocolate samples and Kayden decided to tell her that he did not want his ice cream. He wanted a different one. We told him he couldn't have a different one but she said it was totally fine and went in and got him a scoop of the different one he said he wanted. The problem with this is that now he thinks that anytime he makes a choice and decides he doesn't like it or want it he can get the other one he instead. He now doesn't think that he had to suffer the consequences of his choices. It was super nice of her to do that but it also taught Kayden a terrible lesson. haha

Such a pretty bike ride and no popped tires this time. haha

As soon as we got back to the car a storm had blown in. So there was lightning and thunder and it started to pour really hard. We decided before going home we would stop at Floor and Decor and let the kids look at tile with us to see what they wanted to have in their bathrooms in our new house. It was fun letting them look at choices with us. Although, a little chaotic with the younger 2 because they just wanted to run around the store.

We made it home and relaxed for a little bit and then we rode our bikes to Chick Fil A for dinner.

It was the quietest dinner at Chick Fil A I think we have ever had. The kids were exhausted. haha

The boys did a great job riding as much as we did. It was a lot of bike riding in one day and they were champs. I think we all enjoyed the bike riding day. Wyatt was the one to complain the most about being tired by the time we got to Chick Fil A. Thankfully, with some good food in his tummy he perked up a little bit but not much. haha He got enough energy to make it home though. It was a great end to our bike riding season before school starts.

Kayden and Theo are such good little friends. They would play together every day if we let them.

I took this picture because they all looked so cute sitting in Kayden's room together listening to Brandon tell them a bed time story! I hope these boys realize how good of a Dad they have!

Right before leaving for St. George Ethan had his check in day for school. We had to go get his lap top, class schedule and ID card for the school year. Crazy that summer is already coming to an end.
