So manly

Ethan's loves to help out his Daddy whenever he can. Especially when he is using cool tools! haha
Such a good little helper!

Mini Golf

So thanks to Groupon we got some cheap tickets to go do glow in the dark mini golf. It was fun except Ethan kept going all over the place and towards the end it he decided he was going to leave. So we had to chase after him and try to keep him in there with us. Silly boy!! So here was our little outing of mini golf! :-)

Love my little family so much!!

HELLO Colorado!!

So at the end of February we headed to Fort Collins Colorado. We had been trying to think of where we want to go after Dental School and for some reason Colorado felt right. Fort Collins in getting a temple so Brandon mentioned it and it felt good. So we decided we better go check it out and actually see Colorado for the first time in our lives. haha So we headed to Colorado with the hopes of finding a prospective job opportunity and feeling even better about it. Brandon's sister Coya and her family live in Nebraska so we stayed with them the weekend we got there. Coya's hubby John picked us up at the airport in Fort Collins (which the airport is Teeny Tiny!!) and drove us to Nebraska with him. It was so fun to see there house in person for the first time. It is a really cute little house and it was much bigger than the pictures let on. So we spent the weekend with them exploring Scottsbluff Nebraska and hanging out and having fun. Then Monday morning we all (except John) got into Coya's car and drove back to Fort Collin's. Brandon had some appointments that morning with some Dentists so we dropped him off and headed to breakfast with the kiddos. Then after breakfast at Perkins (which turned out pretty yummy) we headed over to our hotel.

I was not expecting our hotel to look like this! When we drove up I thought for sure we were at the wrong Best Western. But, we weren't and it turned out to be not all that bad. We had a fridge and a microwave which we were not expecting and the rooms were pretty nice. Another plus was that the breakfasts were not all that bad either. We were able to make our own Belgian waffles in the mornings and they had stuff for the kids. The pool was across the parking lot which sucked but it worked out.

This is how we had to set up the sleeping arrangements for the kids. Haha Since they both needed pack n plays to sleep in, and we needed them to be out of sight when they were going to sleep so they would actually go to sleep, this is how we put them. It worked out pretty nicely actually! Except for when I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night since I am pregnant. That made it a little interesting trying to squeeze between the wall and Ethan's pack n play without waking him up. haha But, it worked thank goodness.
The second night we were there we decided to tape up a blanket on the wall so that we could keep a light on after the kids went to bed. We wanted to be able to play some games once they went to bed. Especially since we were normally not ready to go to sleep by 8:30 or 9. haha It worked beautifully!!! Thank goodness I had brought medical tape with us to use on Ethan's eye patches. haha
So here is us playing 5 crowns. Which I won!! :-) haha
The kids had so much fun together. It was fun watching them play together. Ethan loved having a little friend to play with all the time!
Here they are watching Mickey Mouse clubhouse or Little Einsteins I can't remember! haha I love this picture!!
Nap time never really happened in the hotel EVER. There was no way they were going to take naps during the day when we were in the hotel room. So nap time came basically anytime we were in the car driving around. Mady thought it would be fun to copy Ethan sleeping! haha Silly girl!!

One of the days we went to the mall just to get out of the hotel and do something. We got there before any stores were open so we found a little arcade area and the kids loved playing on these race car chairs. We didn't even have to really let them play the games to have fun. Its so nice when they are little and don't care! haha
This was at Toy's R Us. Ethan loved the car. He was pretty upset when we took him out of it!
One of the day's we went to an out door mall. The weather was really nice that day. The sun felt so nice and warm so we walked around for a little bit and just enjoyed the weather.
The last night that Coya and Mady were there in Fort Collin's with us we decided to go to Chucky Cheese and let the kids have some fun (and us of coarse). Ethan really liked the little kid area and he wanted to ride these little things so bad! haha Then we let him play some ski ball with us and he thought that was awesome. So we spent a little bit of time there playing and then went and got some frozen custard before calling it a night.
The last full day that we were there in Colorado we decided to drive around a look at some neighborhoods that we might want to live in. It really helped me get a little more excited to move to Colorado. We had been in the ghetto part of Fort Collins basically the whole time so it was nice to see some newer and nicer areas. This house was just one of the houses in the area we were looking in in Timnath. They had some really cute homes and they were all new. So we went through a few model homes, it was fun.
So here we are just driving around! haha I know pretty exciting picture! :-)

So our last day was spent driving around looking at places and stuff like that. Ethan was a trooper. I seriously have the best little family ever!! So anyways that was our trip to Colorado in a nut shell. It was a good trip and Brandon found was possible job opportunity so we shall see how that turns out. Now we just need to secure a job, find the house/neighborhood that we really want to live in and we will be set. Oh and I guess Brandon has to graduate! haha So here is to our future, wish us luck!! :-)

Bring on Baby #2

Yup it is true we are having another baby and we are so excited. It does seem a little weird to think that we will have another little munckin but we are really excited. So I found out that I was pregnant in the end of January. I was pretty sure I was pregnant before I took the pregnancy test because of pains I was having, and wanting to gag of my spit and having some things taste funny! haha So anyways Brandon was at school so I tried figuring out how I wanted to tell him that I was pregnant. I had wanted to get a shirt for Ethan saying "Big Brother" on it but I did not have a car and the places I was able to ride my bike to (Target and Wal Mart) did not have any shirts with that on it. So I went to plan B. I found this idea online and loved it so I decided to go with Boggle!!
Our boggle had never been opened before so there were these little stickers of boggle that I used to cut out the 'B' since there was only one B on all of the dice. So when Brandon got home that evening I carried on like nothing was different. We had dinner, played with Ethan, and all the usual things we do each day. Then came time for Ethan to go to bed, so we put him to bed and then I suggested that we play a game before we watched the movie that we were going to watch. Brandon was fine with that so I went looking for a game to play. I obviously suggested Boggle but he had no idea why. Then since we have never played it since we got it he thought that the 'b' sticker was on there because my parents gave it to us and were being funny with spelling "baby". So he was about to shake it up when I told him to stop and I started to ask him how we read the words in the game. Such as "can we read the words diagonal? or what?" I also asked him if he could see any words right then. Which he saw the first word but was completely oblivious and he had taken off the 'b' sticker once he saw it. So after a few minutes of trying to get him to see what I was trying to tell him. I put the 'b' sticker back on and asked him if he could read anything. Then he got it and he felt so dumb. haha It was pretty funny, especially since he was getting all frustrated with me as I was playing dumb. So it turned out pretty funny. So once he understood that he was excited and was like "are you serious??" So it was exciting after that.
Then we told my parents when they came down for the weekend for Brandon and I to go to Wicked.

They did not get it either. My mom thought it was funny that we had a ? mark on it but just thought that we were putting it there to plan for the future. So after a bit we had to ask if they thought it meant anything! haha Then they understood and my mom was all, "are you pregnant again??" It was funny!

The last way we told people that we were pregnant is this super cute picture!!

We sent this picture to all of our siblings in a text and then put it on facebook for the rest of the world to see. I love this picture!! :-)

And here is our 2nd little bean when I was 8 weeks along!

Visit from my parents!

Also in the month of February my parents came down to visit. It is always fun having them visit and Ethan loves it too. They got here on a Friday afternoon and Brandon and I went to Wicked that night!!!!

It was such an amazing show.

We LOVED the cast and it was just so much fun. Brandon and I went out to dinner and then went to the show. It was a great date night!! The show was at ASU Gammage and it was a really cool place! Anyways, it was a great night and we LOVED seeing Wicked for the first time! :-)

The rest of the weekend was just a lot of hanging out and having fun together. Ethan is always spoiled when my parents come to visit!! :-) So here are some pictures from there visit!

It was so much fun having my parents there for the weekend. The time always goes by way too fast but it is always worth it when they come! Especially when my dad is able to come because he is not able to come every time! So it is really nice when they are both able to come have fun with all of us!

My blue eyed boy!

So February 14th I had to take my little boy into the eye Doctor. His right eye likes to wonder off to the side when he is tired and staring off into the distance. So we decided we should probably have it checked out. The Doctor said that he was not really concerned about it but that we need to put an eye patch on him each day for 1 hour or 2. They had to dialate his little eyes so that the doctor could take a better look into the back of his eyes. So when we left they told me that his eyes will be a little sensitive for a little while out in the sun. So they gave me some simple/cheap sun glasses to put on him, but they did not really fit him so this is what he looked like on the car ride home! Poor little buddy!!!

However, he did really well with having an eye patch on his eye. I just told him he was like a pirate and I said "arr" and he thought that was fun. So we went around growling at each other for a while! haha What a cute little boy!

I must say though, he has gotten a little worse with wearing his eye patch as time has gone on. He likes to pull it off when we are not looking so it has become a little bit of a struggle to keep it on him for an hour each day. So we go back in to the doctors in June and hopefully it has fixed itself and we don't have to worry about it anymore!
