Happy Fourth of July

We had a great Fourth of July. We started off the morning with a typical morning jog while Brandon was off golfing.

The kids really enjoy going out for our morning jogs. They get to ride their bikes or scooters or roller blades and they really do seem to like it. Which is a win win for me! haha

Once Brandon got home we headed out to Loveland to get a few fireworks of our own.

The kids were super excited to get some pop its. haha

Kayden is looking so grown up it is crazy!!

After getting some fireworks for ourselves we got ready and went golfing all together.

We had a lot of fun golfing that day. Plus we rented golf carts which the kids always love doing. It was a fun afternoon.

Once golfing was done we let the kids play outside and I got some dinner and dessert ready for that evening. We had some yummy ribs and I made this super tasty dessert to be festive!
This was super tasty!! I ate more than I should have! haha

We also made this tasty drink to go along with our dinner!

Kayden really liked the drink. haha

These pop it things are super loud. The kids loved them! I am not sure if they will want regular pop its ever again. haha

After dinner was over we went outside and just enjoyed being outside for a little bit before we headed over to the tennis courts at harmony.

We met up with the Willeys to play some tennis and to eat some dessert before heading over to the golf course to watch the fireworks.

The sunset was really pretty that night. It was a nice view watching the sun go down.

Then we tried some sparklers. It was a little bit too breezy so it made it hard to light the sparklers. The fire from the lighter kept going out.

We tried a couple of things.
Thankfully we finally got it to work and the kids enjoyed running around with them. Kayden got his first experience with sparklers and just starred at them. haha

Then it was time for the show!!

The firework show was fun and done well. We all enjoyed the evening watching the fireworks go off. Well all of us except for Kayden. He got scared and kept crying. So I held him and just wrapped a blanket around him and held him tight. Eventually he stopped crying about it and just watched. Then....

He fell asleep. haha He slept for like the last half of the fireworks. I don't know how he slept through them. They were loud! haha I was ok with it though. I enjoyed my snuggles that evening. He was so tired that he slept the whole way home in my arms too and I wrapped him and laid him in bed and we went right back to sleep. It was a good fourth of July with lots of fun memories!
