Our Easter fun started with a ward egg hunt. Saturday before Easter Sunday the primary put on an Easter Egg hunt for all the kids in the ward. The boys were pretty excited to have a big egg hunt.
After our egg hunt we got things ready to dye some eggs. Kayden loves dying eggs at Easter. He puts them in as many colors as he can and goes through the eggs so fast. We had to hide the eggs that were for the other boys so that they could get a chance to color their eggs. Ethan only wanted to color 1 egg this year. I guess he feels like he is getting too old to color eggs.
Kayden had so much fun!!! haha The other boys got a little upset with Kayden because he kept trying to take their eggs out of the dye. Kayden's hands were so colorful by the end. haha Silly kid!!
Easter morning!!
The boys came in nice and early all excited to find their baskets. They came in and said that the older boys needed help finding theirs. When I asked if they had checked the garage it took a split second to have them look at each other and jet off to the garage. haha It took the boys a little while to find their baskets this year. haha Kayden wasn't quite sure what was going on but there was candy on the floor. haha Then he wanted to find his basket. I think he started to remember what was going on from last year. After finding baskets we were off to church.
The kids ate so much candy that day. It always surprises me how much candy these kids can put down. haha
Then we were off to have dinner at my parents house. My mom made little cornish hens for dinner. She wanted to be able to put a little tiny chicken on each of the boys plates. It was quite funny seeing their reactions when they had a whole chicken placed on their plates.
They were so disgusted! We took them off their plates and cut them up and Emmett still complained. He said it was gross and he didn't want to eat it. Even though it tasted like any chicken they have eaten before. Silly kids!
Over all the boys had a good Easter Sunday!
