So our library puts on these infant story times and play groups each week. It has been really fun to go and let Ethan interact with other kids a little younger and a little older than him. Each Wednesday we go to the story time and we sing songs and listen to the lady read a few stories and then they let the kids play for a little bit. Then on Friday's the Phoenix Children's Hospital puts on a play group with a bunch of different developmentally appropriate toys and things to play with for all of the kids. Ethan LOVES it! Now every time we go to the library on those days he knows exactly where to go and jets it into the room! He gets so excited and I am glad that we have that to go to each week so that we can both get out of the house and he can get some interaction with other kids! So I took my camera one of the times to the play group so here are some of the pictures from that fun time at the library!
It took Ethan a little bit to go through the tunnel. I think he was not really sure about it! haha
He did really well playing with the other kids. He is so funny when he gets around other kids, he enjoys it a lot and when someone takes a toy from him he just gets this look like, "umm ok I guess you can have it." and then he goes and finds something else to play with. It is really funny and he will just give toys he is playing with to other kids sometimes. So I hope that he continues to be this way and ends up being a pro sharer! haha

Then at the end they have a little story time as well. So it is a really cool activity for the kids! I sure hope that they have this kind of stuff other places because it is really fun for both the parents and the kids!
