So for my birthday last month we had a lot of fun. We started out the fun birthday weekend by going to Red Robin the night before my birthday to get my free birthday burger. Brandon and I split a burger and we got a fried zuchinni appetizer to split. The boys shared some mac and cheese! It worked out perfectly!! So that was a good start to the birthday weekend!
Then Friday morning (my birthday) Brandon had me unwrap a couple of presents right off the bat. It was whip cream and strawberries! haha Pretty clever! So we opened that and started making waffles so that we could have a yummy breakfast of strawberries and waffles with whip cream! Then once the boys were up I opened the rest of my presents! Brandon got me a new ipod and a new golf driver. Which I LOVED both of them! Then we chated with my parents and got ready to go look at getting a car.
Brandon had wrapped my ipod in Ethans ninja turtle basketball box. So when I opened it I was all, "Ethan, look I have a ninja turtle baseketball hoop too!! He was a little confused! haha
Yummy Breakfast!
So we got to the car place and decided that we really like the GMC Acadia Denalli that the dealership had. We had been going back and forth on whether we really wanted an Acadia or if we maybe wanted a Durango. We figured that the Acadia was probably a better fit for our family. So once we had decided on that after test driving both vehicles we really liked the Acadia Denalli. So we went forward with purchasing it. While Brandon did all the paperwork stuff I stayed with the kids in a little toy area!
All of the toys were pretty dirty and so I had my hands full with trying to keep Wyatt from putting every toy there in his mouth. It took at least an hour to get all the paper work done and have the keys handed over. It might have even been 2 hours. All I know is that by the time we were good to leave it was past lunch time and we were all hungry! So even though we had just bought a car we went to go eat at Freddy's for lunch!

It was really weird driving it off the lot, and I am not used to driving such a big car that I was a little nervous going into the parking lots and just driving it in general!
After lunch we went to the park to let Ethan play with his rocket that he got for his birthday!
We had fun hanging out at the park for a little bit. Then we went home and Brandon cooked us a yummy steak dinner.
Then for Dessert!
My itty bitty cake! haha Brandon figured we didnt need to get the huge one like we have in the past. So he got what was supposed to be an 8 inch cake. However it looked more like 5 inches. Plus it was not even 2 cakes on top of each other it was like half of a cake and a little ice cream. haha It was pretty funny how tiny it was. So we got the kids ready for bed. Had them sing to me and then we put Ethan to bed and Brandon and I got to have some quiet time and enjoy eating my tiny but very yummy ice cream cake! It only lasted about 2 nights if I recall correctly! haha
It was a great 25th birthday!!
Also on my birthday Wyatt hit 10 months. He is crawling everywhere and eating everything and anything he can off the floor. He also stopped wanting baby food a little bit before turning 10 months, as well as not drinking as much bottle. He can suck through a straw and likes cold milk. He is so much easier to feed table food than Ethan was. He likes meat and really anything we give him. He always wants what we have even if he has stuff on his plate. If it is not exactly like what we have then he yells at us until we give it to him! haha He also started waving a little bit before hitting 10 months. He is just a sweet little chubby boy and we love him so much!!
