Before we knew it September was starting. I feel like summer went by way too fast. I am glad the boys are happy to be in school and are enjoying it. It seems like it takes a bit to get used to them being home all the time and a little to get used to them being gone again. Kayden loves having his brothers home but he is also enjoying time with them gone. He gets to watch whatever he wants and gets to play with me. He also really didn't have much time on his own with me before Harvey was here to play with him all the time.
Back to doing the dishes. haha He tells me he wants to clean the dishes for me. It is cute that he wants to help out. He loves it when I let him play in the sink and do the dishes. Or rather play with the dishes in the water.
Then we were able to take Kayden and Harvey to Urban Air for the toddler time.
Kayden was not a huge fan of the ball pit. It was hard for him to get out of it and I think it made him nervous.
Gigi to the rescue!!!
Kayden was not a fan of the tornado machine! haha
Then Kayden threw a massive tantrum because I wouldn't buy 6 dollar m&ms. haha He usually gets over things pretty quick but this time he was throwing a fit for quite a while. I had to make him take a time out for a couple of minutes to calm himself down. Then I asked if he was hungry and he told me he was and wanted a snack. So my mom bought some popcorn.
Kayden ate so much popcorn. The poor kid must have been super hungry!
Harvey and Theo came over and wanted him to go play but he could care less. He just wanted to eat. After he got his fill he was back to running around.
These kids played so hard and had a lot of fun together. We grabbed Chick Fil A on the way home and then the fun for the day was over.
Brandon, Kayden and I tried out a different ice cream shop in Loveland. We had to take Brandon's Tesla in to the shop which is in Loveland. After picking it up we stopped to try Paradice cream in Loveland. It was actually pretty tasty! We will have to take the other boys back there some time.
Then we were off to have some fun in the pool!
Cute little Caleb!!
More fun together!
Then we went to dinner with the whole crew at Hacienda Real and after we tried out Glacier Ice cream in Fort Collins. I think the loveland one was better! Plus it was not in such a ghetto area. haha
The kids enjoyed their ice cream and had fun being crazy like always. Look at those happy faces!!! I just love it!!
Then Sunday night Harvey wanted to stay the night. So we let Harvey sleep in Kaydens bed with him. It went well at first. These boys were super tired. We gave them a little bit of melatonin just to help them get to sleep since they were sharing the one bed. They fell asleep super fast. Then an hour later Harvey came downstairs and said he needed to go back to Papa and Gigi's house and he needed his mommy. He looked like he was going to cry. So Brandon took him back to my parents house.
Monday was Labor Day and we went to The Summit to go bowling, laser tag and the arcade.
It was a fun morning. I was glad that Kayden and Harvey were able to do Laser Tag. It took a bit to get used to the guns but then they had fun. The older boys were super excited that they were able to play laser tag.
After some chill time we made our way to my parents house again to have dinner and play with water balloons and roast marshmallows.
We enjoyed the sunset and time outside before calling it a night.
The next day Ashley and the kids were leaving. They were headed to Utah to stay for a month and be away from the Hurricane weather back in Puerto Rico. So that morning Kayden and I went over to spend a little more time with Harvey before they had to leave.
Kayden was so sad that Harvey was leaving. He didn't want his buddy to leave.
Look at that sad face!
Harvey did not know how to deal with his emotions. He was sad that he was leaving his buddy too. Instead of getting sad he just got crazy and almost mad. He would not acknowledge that he had to say bye. It made me sad seeing how sad Kayden was.
Break my heart!!!!
Then they were off! Kayden said Bye to his cousin and said that he was going to miss Harvey. I gave my hugs and shed a few tears and watched them drive away.
Then it was back to me and Kayden during the day.
We took his bike out and he wanted to hold my hand while he was riding.
I love when he wants to hold my hand. It reminds me of Wyatt a little when he was tiny. I will gladly hold this little guys hand whenever he wants to.
I had an appointment with the chiropractor and Rebecca Hanson was nice enough to take Kayden to story time with her while I went.
Harvey may have left but he still has his buddy Theo. They are good little friends too and it is cute to watch them talk and play together.
I guess Kayden actually enjoyed story time this time so that was good!
We also had another big moment. Kayden went poop again in the toilet. After many times of his crying and screaming telling me he didn't want to he finally went poop in the toilet again.
So proud of him for going again!! Now if he can just do it every day then we can get him in underwear and be done with diapers for ever!!! haha
He was so happy that he earned his "Jackson Storm" car finally!!
We also drove down to Thornton that Friday morning. We wanted to go to the Apple store and see if we could get money for any of our old ipads. We didn't sadly. They just recycled them for us. My mom and Dad got some money back. Then we went to IN N OUT for lunch before heading home. Kayden had fun pretending to ride these cars while we waited for my parents to be done at the Apple store.
We also we to the first CSU Rams game of the season!
I spent the game chasing after Kayden and trying to keep him occupied. Then Emmett complained about wanting cotton candy or some kind of treat. We ended up getting bottomless popcorn brought to the suite which worked out nicely. We left after 3rd quarter. The Rams were loosing and it didn't look like it was going to turn around.
The boys had picture day at school! They are getting too big!!!
Lastly, I had to take pictures of his. Kayden told me that he was not going to get tired riding his bike to the big park. So I agreed that he could ride his bike to the park. Then half way there he stopped in the shade and said he was tired. It was funny seeing him lay his head down on the handle bars like he was going to fall asleep. This kid needs to build up some stamina. haha Thankfully, on the way home I was able to give him his water bottle. I told him it was his gas. So he would stop and I would fill him up with gas by letting him take a drink and then he would go fast again. It was so funny!! He is a silly little boy!!
