Figuring out housing

We arrived in Fort Collins CO early morning on May 16th and got right to work. We had to get two things accomplished in basically 2 full days. One - get a job (since the job that Brandon thought he had was no longer an option) and 2 - find a rental (since we were no longer buying a house, from lack of a job). We stayed with my friend again which was really helpful, especially since basically all of the hotels were booked from graduations. So anyways we got to Colorado early in the morning and were on the go all day. We went and saw two practices that were possibilities to purchase. The thought of buying and practice was pretty crazy. We got excited about one practice that was really expensive. It was basically a cash cow but the thought of being in the amount of debt that it would have put us in was insane. So while we were thinking about the possibility of that practice we were driving down for an interview in Denver and while we did that Brandon got a phone call which turned into a phone interview. The phone interview went well and the lady wanted him to come in the next day to meet in person. So that was not expected. Now we had a lot to think about.  Then we finally were able head to my friends place to relax and get some sleep since we had gotten maybe 2 hours the night before. The next day was rental hunting day. We saw a bunch of places and some were decent but we just had not gotten too excited about any place yet. Then finally on Saturday we went and saw a town home and it was nice and in town. We chose to go with the Town Home. 3 bedroom, 2 bath and an attached garage. We got the lease and and talked to the land lord and things were set. That made it feel more official that we were actually going to be moving to Colorado. We also decided to go with the job from the phone interview. It was a good offer and it was in Fort Collins. So we got what we needed to get done done. We went out to a breakfast place in Old Town called Snooze with my friend and her family and took a look at the town home and then headed towards the airport. We stopped at an outdoor mall close to the airport and saw Iron Man 3 and then headed to the airport to fly back to LAX that night. Pretty crazy trip with a lot of things accomplished, and not much down time. But, it was worth it.
