On May 15th Brandons' school hosted a formal banquet for the graduating class. It was black tie optional so of coarse I had to go buy a dress. I found one at Ross for 20 bucks, a coverup and neckless at another store and some shoes. Then we found a shirt and tie for Brandon to wear so that he could match me. It was fun getting all dressed up. The banquet itself was long and only fun because we were with our friends. The food was really good though. We got the filet mignon which was really good after I sent it back to get cooked more! haha They brought out the meats basically rare and it was just too much for me to handle. Thankfully they took it back and cooked it more. So by the time I got mine and everyone else was done eating it was the perfect piece of meat! haha We also got a salad and some really yummy chocolate cake for dessert!! What made the evening really long was that they did an awards ceremony and called every suite up individually and every person individually to go up front and recieve their class present and some metal. It seemed like a pre graduation. It took forever to get through all of the people, and what was terrible was that we were driving to Cali that night so that we could drop off the kids at my parents house and be to the airport for our 6:15 flight the next morning. So we did not even stay for the entire banquet. Once brandon's suite was done we left. So here are some pics from that night!
We headed back home at 9:40 and got back to home at about 10:00. Our friend Josiah was watching the boys which was nice because we did not have to take him home or pay him. So nice to have friends to babysit swap with. So we got home packed up the car and left for California. We didnt get to my parents house until about 2:30 where we dropped off the kids and our stuff and then left for the airport. It was a long night. We could barely stay awake when we got to the airport and were waiting to go through security. It was nice to finally sit down in the airplane and really relax and sleep for a little bit on our flight to Denver.
