I can't believe my little man is old enough to go to preschool!! I was really excited for him and yet a little bit sad because this just starts the years of him being more and more away from me. He was so ready for it though. He was excited and didnt even get sad when I left! He is just growing up too fast and I dont know how to slow time down! So I will just enjoy the fact that he is only gone for a few hours which gives me time to have one on one time with Wyatt! So it will be good! :-)
So here are a few pictures from our Preschool Debut Photo shoot!
Look at that stud!!
I sure love this kid!!!
His preschool is at a ladies house down the street. She is in our ward and living just down the street is so nice! So we ride our bikes to school in the mornings, at least until the weather gets too cold!
My preschooler riding his bike to school!
Such a big boy now!
They had to sit on these dots that had their names on them and that is where they wait to go into class!
Talking with Ms. Jamie!
For the first day of Preschool the parents were invited to be there for the first 10 minutes of class. So we had a friend of mine watch Wyatt so I could go with Ethan.
They have to write their names each day!
Ethan was not sure what to think with everyone else being there too. He kept just watching all the other kids. I had to tell him not to worry about the other kids and to just trace his name on the paper!
After tracing their names he got to trace my hand on paper. Some of the other kids didnt really know how to do it but Ethan has always loved to trace my hand or my body on the floor with chalk! haha So he was a pro!
Then puzzle time for a few minutes!
Then it was time for us parents to leave! I gave Ethan one last big hug and then left!
It was a little weird leaving him for preschool the first day.
His teacher took this picture and sent it to me! :-) He has such a good smile and looks so happy!
He really likes preschool! When I picked him up he was super happy to see me and Wyatt. Then when we got home he pulled out his paper that he did at school and when he saw it he said that it was not his. It was a paper with his hand print on it. He told me that his had an orange heart on it not a pink heart. So I looked on the back and sure enough it was not his. So I texted his teacher and we got it switched the next day at school. Then the next time he came home with a rattle egg that they had made. He was so excited to show me this egg that he had put together. He pulls it out and tells me it is not his. He got so upset and pouted because his was the blue egg with blue tape not the orange egg with blue tape. I told him that because his name was not on it that there was no way for them to know that it was not his egg. It took him a bit to cheer up and to just use the orange egg that he brought home. haha This kid has too good of a memory! He always has! So it didnt surprise me either time that this happened. It just makes me laugh at how sharp his little mind is! He does it with so many things! He will randomly in the car talk about our car accident. He will say, "mom, remember that one time when Mady was here and we were going to go see a movie and daddy broke our car and we were upside down like spiderman and then you had bleeding on you?" I always say "yes I remember that and thats why we need to wear our seat belts!" haha He is so funny. That was over a year ago and he remembers it like it was yesterday. The fact that he seems to remember just about every detail about it is so funny. He also told us the other day while we were in the car, "remember last year I wanted a crocodile and monkeys for Christmas and I got dinosaurs instead, that was funny." haha I didnt think he really knew what he wanted for Christmas last year. We thought he would love the Dinosaurs. No, he still remembers that he wanted a crocodile and monkeys for christmas. We can't get anything by this kid. He is just sharp as a tack and says the funniest things. The other day we were driving to church and I had only brought Wyatt's sippy cup. Ethan says he wants a drink and I told him he would have to see if Wyatt would share his water with him. So he says, "Can I have a drink buddy? please?" Then Wyatt takes a second and then starts drinking his water again. So Ethan says, "I guess thats a.. No!" haha I love all the funny things kids say!! :-) We are so blessed to have Ethan in our family! Sure he has a major temper at times and is a complete rage monster sometimes. But, he is also such a sweet heart and is so much fun! We sure so love him and can't believe how fast he is growing up!
Since I was taking pictures of Ethan I decided to take one of Wyatt! He is almost 2 and I can't believe that either!! These boys are just growing up too fast and I dont like it!!
Wyatt is also a funny character! When we were at Grandma and Grandpa Murri's house he was playing and hanging on their railing and randomly said, "Ya Baby!!!" haha He also likes to say awesome and he will say funny or silly when people are laughing or making him laugh. Then the other day the boys were being goof balls like usual and Daddy was carrying Wyatt inside and said,"you guys are silly ducks!" Wyatt's response was, "Quack" haha He is also showing the same sharp memory that Ethan has lately! The other night I was putting the boys to bed and they were pretending that there was a tiger in the room. Wyatt was afraid that it was going to eat his toes because Ethan was saying that thats what the tiger was going to do. So I kept telling him while I was cuddling with him that there was no tiger. However, by morning when I went to get him out of bed I go in and he was acting like he was hiding his fingers and says, "hide! Tiger bite!!" haha What silly smart kids I have!
I love being their mom and having the silly memories they give me!! I just wish time would slow down a little bit!!
