Snow Cone Party

Every year a girl in our ward who lives just around the corner from us throws an end of the year snow cone party. She has a ton of flavors and gets bags of ice and just lets the kids go to town on snow cones and play. So yesterday I got some laundry done in the morning and then we headed to Costco to grab some things and eat some lunch before heading over to the snow cone party. 

 The boys insisted on wearing their goggles and I didn't care to fight them on it. 

 Wyatt's face looked SO funny!! I tried to help him move them off his eyes like this but he wanted them like this! haha He kept just walking around looking at people and smiling! haha It was so funny! 

 So naturally Ethan had to follow suit! 

After grabbing what we needed we headed home just in time to drop off our stuff and ride scooters over to the party. 

 It was another hot day but the boys had fun eating as many snow cones as they wanted. I enjoyed some snow cones as well and enjoyed talking with some friends. All of my friends were hoping that I would have had my baby by now (so do I). haha The rest of the day was non eventful. Only 5 more days till my induction date and I can't wait!! I am really hoping he will come on Saturday or just come before Tuesday because I am SO...... done! I am just hurting so much. I am not getting sleep because my back hurts just laying on my side and then this baby decides that he needs to push up into my ribs so I don't really look forward to sleep at night. I have a ton of energy during the day and have been getting a ton done and I do not look forward to sleep at night. I just know that I will wake up hurting more than I did before I went to sleep! So I am looking forward to having this baby out of me and to start getting back to normal and not hurting so much! I am so close to having him and yet I feel like it is so far away!! Oh well!! 

Oh and really random but I have to put these funny little facts down about my boys. 

Wyatt one day was coming upstairs and dropped a toy and says, "Oh craters!" haha It is from a cartoon they watch called Miles From Tomorrow Land! It was so funny that he thought to say the phrase from the cartoon! haha He also has called his little man parts a tail! haha 

Ethan the other day while in the shower turned into the corner and I could tell that he was grabbing himself. So I asked him what he was doing (thinking he was peeing in the shower) he turns around and says, "look mom, its dancing!" What a nut!!! haha Another funny thing he said was when he dropped something under the table and said, "oh rat sticks!" haha Where do kids come up with these things! haha 

Day of Family Fun

This this week is the last full week that we will have as a family of 4. Besides that we thought we only had till Friday because Jason and Devin were going to stop by our place for a couple of days on their move to Chicago. Then on Saturday my parents are arriving and then on Tuesday (if not before then) we will be bringing little Emmett into the world. Since Brandon was working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday I wanted to make Tuesday a fun filled family day. I figured with Brandon's brother getting here Friday and my parents getting here on Saturday it was really our only day to do a bunch of fun things the whole day as a family of 4. So after Brandon got done with some things at his other job and the boys and I got done at Sam's Club we headed to Centerra in Loveland to go to the Centerra Kids Days. It was also the only one that Brandon would be able to join us for and probably the only one we will be doing this summer since I do not care to be taking 3 kids to the activity where TONS of people go because its all free. So we headed there and got some cotton candy, played 2 games and then headed home because it was so hot and super crowded.

 We stood in line for a little baseball throwing stand. Ethan was the only one that wanted to do it. Wyatt didn't want to because he was set on going to the basketball stand. 

They thought the basketball one was so fun. Which is funny because they play basketball in our basement all the time! haha They must really like basketball! :-) 

After the activities at Centerra we got our swimsuits on and headed to our pool. We swam for about an hour and a half and then Ethan wanted to be done. So we headed home to get changed and then we went to For Fun to go mini golfing! 

The only picture I took of mini golfing. It was SO hot!! I barely made it through the 18 holes and then could barely take the heat for any more of them. I was having a hard time being 38 weeks pregnant and it being super hot outside. So we finished up mini golfing and then headed to Chick Fil A for some dinner. It was such a busy day! We were all so tired by the time we got back from dinner. It was all worth it though. The boys had a blast and we had fun spending the time with the boys doing all of these things. It was a super busy but fun day! It was like our last hurrah before we have this baby and life changes. Now Jason and Devin are no longer coming so Friday will be our day of cleaning and making sure that we are ready for my parents to get here. Then on Saturday we are picking up my parents from the airport and then we thought it would be fun to go on a hike. Well not only fun but we are kind of hoping that it will help me go into labor! haha If I don't go into labor after our festivities with my parents on Saturday then I guess we will just meet little Emmett on Tuesday, we shall see! :-) 

May 26-30th

After our fun Memorial Day Brandon was gone the rest of the week. He had to work tuesday, thursday and friday and was in AZ on Wednesday. It was a long week for me and the boys but Brandon was able to go to AZ for his brother Jason's graduation from medical school. What is even cooler is that Brandon was able to hood Jason for his graduation since he is a doctor. So while he was gone we had the electrician come and finish our electrical in our basement and me and the boys went to the pool to enjoy the nice weather! It was a crazy week and the boys were driving me crazy! However, we survived and Brandon took off half of his Friday so he could be here to help out and to see his boys. 

All we need now is carpet and our basement will be complete! :-)

While Brandon was in AZ I decided to make a hooded towel for Wyatt. I had nothing else to do once I put the boys to bed so I got that done. Now he has a bigger hooded towel instead of the tiny one he has been using. Although he still seems to prefer the smaller one! haha They never really appreciate my hard work until a long time later! haha 

We are so excited for the pool to be open. It is so nice on hot days to get out and go swimming. 

Wyatt just looked so big and cute in this little tank top that he was sleeping in! haha 

Then after Brandon got back we were able to enjoy some relaxing with him and he got to work trying to fix our PS3. It has not been reading our blu rays or games for quite some time now. So he ordered a new laser online and took it all apart and put it all back together using Youtube. Now it works like a charm! My handsome handyman! :-) 

In preparation for my sister Ashley's wedding we went on the hunt to find the shoes I am supposed to wear being a bridesmaid. We hit a bunch of places trying to find a shoe that was similar to what she wanted but with a smaller heel. While we were at our last stop to shop Wyatt decided that he was going to try on shoes too! haha 

He walks in heels better than I do! haha He was just walking around the store with these heels on! He is so funny!! 

Memorial Day

On Memorial Day my brother David and his girlfriend Hayley came to visit for a little bit. She is from Colorado near the Denver temple and they were in town visiting her family for the long weekend. So they drove down our way and came for breakfast. So we had pancakes, eggs, fruit and bacon here at the house and then just hung out and let the kids torment them! haha Ethan and Wyatt had a blast playing with David and Hayley! 

It was fun having them visit! It had been a while since we had seen David and we had never met Hayley before. So it was a fun visit from them and a surprise for the weekend. We didn't even know they were in town till he texted me Saturday night! We were so glad that they were able to come by and visit for a bit before heading back to Utah! What a fun Memorial Day! :-) 

Life from May 8-24th

The boys took the side tabs of diaper boxes and were using them as "skateboards" as they called them!! Silly kids! haha

The boys got to go to the Fathers and sons campout this year. Ethan was SUPER excited! He kept asking each day when the, "daddy and boys hunt" was going to be. haha Brandon got off work early the Friday they were supposed to go and then they took off. They were all excited to go spend some fun time together! 

While they were gone I went and got Panera Bread for dinner and just watched T.V pretty much the entire evening. I have not sad down that much in a long time and I actually got kind of board. haha 

The next morning the boys got back pretty early. I guess Ethan had a rough time early in the morning because his hands and feet were cold and instead of doing anything about it he just cried. Brandon said he cried for like an hour. So they had a little bit of breakfast and then the boys sat in the car while he took the tent down and threw everything in the car really quick so they could leave. Other than a not so fun morning they had a fun evening roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores. Ethan actually liked the s'mores this time and so did Wyatt. So I had a boring and non eventful, relaxing evening and the boys had a fun and yet exhausting night and morning! At least they were able to all go this year! We just wont be camping in a tent with our boys for a long time! haha

While Wyatt was sick and taking a nap I let Ethan stay up and we made the wood airplane that he got for Christmas from Grandpa and GG. 

It was fun letting him paint the airplane even though by the end he didnt want to and he just wanted to glue it together so he could play with it! haha 

It turned out cute though and he thought it was the coolest thing ever! :-) 

Last Day of Preschool! Love my handsome little boy! 

While Ethan was at preschool I discovered something....

Brandon had a friday off and we decided to go out for some yummy breakfast at snooze! 

While we waited for our food the boys wanted Daddy to make paper airplanes for them out of their menus! haha They have been on a paper airplane kick lately!

It is always so delicious!!

It was a rainy morning and Wyatt looked so cute walking in the rain after breakfast with his little rain coat on! :-) 

Then we walked around Trader Joes. 

The boys thought it was pretty cool that they had their own shopping carts! 

On our way to church 2 Sunday's ago I looked back to find Wyatt sitting like this! haha I guess he decided he needed to be muzzled! haha Silly kid! 

Then that night Brandon had to go Home Teaching and Wyatt wanted to go with Daddy so badly. He kept telling Brandon that he wanted to go with him. So Brandon told him that he would have to get his diaper changed and get his pants back on really fast if he wanted to go. So Wyatt got on the floor and laid down to get his diaper changed and didnt fight at all with getting his diaper changed or his pants back on. Then he rushed to the garage door to get his shoes on. He gave Ethan a hug and told him good night. Then as we were watching them leave Wyatt looked at me and was all, "you not going with us." haha He was so excited to be going with Daddy!

When they got back Brandon said that he did a really good job at being quiet and ended up playing nicely with one of the families boys. I love that he wanted to go so badly and that he was so good too!
