Halloween weekend

Halloween weekend was full of fun. Carlan and Ashely and their little Quin came to visit. The boys had fun showing off to Carlan and Ashely. We also did a few things while they were here besides Trick or Treating. We went to breakfast, the Museum of Discovery, the boys went golfing, we did some Halloween craft and watched movies. It was a fun filled weekend.

 So Brandon got dressed up with Travis Willey as Dumb and Dumber. They looked pretty awesome.

 I didnt get to go to Ethan's school costume parade so Brandon took some pictures for me. :-)

 Then while Carlan and Ashley were here we had to take them to Snooze. It was as delicious as ever. :-)

The discovery Museum was pretty cool. A lot smaller than I expected but the boys thought it was pretty cool.

I thought it would be fun to make the boys lunch all festive! They loved it and wanted me to make them bat apples the next day too! haha 

Then we made spider puppets.  Thank you pinterest!

Time to trick or treat 

The boys got a ton of candy and thankfully it was not as cold out this year as it was last year. Our friends from our ward the Palmers put on a haunted house and this year it was start wars. So it was not a scary haunted house. I took the boys in and it was pretty cool. They had everything set up like a star Jetter and had a Jedi leading the tour. The boys got to see Darth Vader and Darth Wall as well as the Emperor. I think Ethan and Wyatt were kind of scared because they didnt move much and when the Jedi told them to run because she couldn't hold off the bad guys they just stood here. Haha I had to basically push them out the door. Then Wyatt kept saying that it was scary and he didnt want to do it again. Thank goodness it was not a real haunted house or we wouldn't have gotten any sleep for weeks. haha Im glad that they don't like scary things either. Both Brandon and I are not scary lovers. So they are definitely our children! :-) haha

We were so glad that Carlan and Ashely could finally make it. They had planned on coming out a few times before this and it never worked out. The only down side was that me and the boys ended up catching a cold right before they came. So besides most of our family being sick we had a blast!
