Some Power Wheel fun!

So our neighbors across the street from us have lots of toys and Ethan and Wyatt have been playing with them a lot this summer. One afternoon I came outside after getting something from the house and this four wheeler was in our driveway. The Mom Anu was telling the boys how charge it and everything. Wyatt told me so excitedly that we got to keep it. I was like, "you mean for today." Then Anu said that we could keep it. She said that her boys were too big for it so they were just giving it to us. I couldn't believe it! Super nice and yet not needed. Our boys were sure excited about it. The next morning Ethan and Wyatt were out in the front riding the 4 wheeler before I was even up. I had to tell them that they couldn't do that when I wasn't up yet. They sure do have some fun with it and Emmett loves it too and Ethan is more than happy to drive Emmett around on it! haha 

I really do Love the boys bright happy smiles!! 

Centerra Kids Days

The second week of June brought the first and probably our only Centerra kids days for this summer. They are only doing 1 each month and since I don't really care to go in July or August when it is really hot this was probably the only one we would go to. Emmett was feeling better and we figured it would be a fun outing. Luckily it was not super hot that day so we were able to really enjoy our time there! 

What is Centerra Kids Days without enjoying some yummy cotton candy! :-) 

All of the boys thought it was pretty cool to be able to sit in a Police cars drivers seat! 

As well as sitting in at Firetruck!! 

They even got to pet some sheep and a donkey. Emmett was even brave enough to pet the sheep. Probably because he was nowhere near the head of the sheep. haha 

What?? A school bus!!! How exciting is that! haha I still think it is funny that Ethan wanted to go on the bus so badly too even though he rides a school bus to school every day during the year! haha 

Lastly, we saw the tortoise that was on the grass walking around. Then we headed to get a sample from See's Candies and buy a few suckers and then we headed home to let Emmett take a nap and relax for a little while! 

A little bit of craziness!

After our weekend of trying to squeeze in fun and realizing how sick Emmett was he seemed to be better on Sunday morning. However, on Monday morning Emmett woke up early crying. I brought him into my room to lay down with me and he fell asleep on my arm. He slept past 9 and I had to wake him up so we could go to the Northern Fort Collins library to see a juggling act.

The boys thought it was so fun to watch this lady juggle. They even got a little lesson on juggling. 

After the juggling act we headed home. As we headed home it looked as if Emmett was getting a rash on his face. We were going to go to the pool after we got back home but after noticing Emmett's face I decided to look at him more closely when we got home. 

He definitely was getting a rash on his face. So I tried to feed him some lunch and I gave him some Benadryl.

Poor little buddy looked so tired!! He was laying down watching some T.V and he would turn to me and then close his eyes. So I took him upstairs to bed. He took a really long nap!! 

During his nap we had some hail and the hail got so huge!! I have never seen hail that big ever in my life!! Emmett slept through it which is just craziness! I couldn't believe how big the hail stones were that I had to take a picture of it! 

Emmett took a picture of me all by himself! haha 

After Emmett's nap his rash looked worse! I took a picture of it and sent it to Brandon. He looked up all the symptoms Emmett had been having that weekend and we concluded that Emmett had roseolla. Luckily it was the end signs of it and after the next day his rash was going away and he was so much happier!! 

Summer Life

We sure do love Summer. Our summer has been full of baseball games, mornings of cartoon watching with protein drinks, movie nights with friends and lots of fun in the backyard! 

Ethan sure does love playing baseball and it has been fun watching him play. I am not a fan of our evenings being taken up and busy but I guess that is what happens when you have boys! :-) 

Our boys got their faces painted at Texas Roadhouse one evening and the lady did a great job! 

Emmett was being a big boy carrying his chair all by himself! He would not let me help him at all! haha

They are seriously so cute!

Water Balloons!!

Ethan and Wyatt always try to take as many water balloons as they can before Emmett gets a hold of them. As soon as Emmett get a balloon he throws it on the floor to watch it pop. He thinks that it is the funniest thing! 

When Daddy has a meeting we enjoy dinner in the basement watching a movie! 

Pool time!! :-) With Summer brings lots of pool time! 

We bought Emmett some new sunglasses and they fit Emmett so well and he looked so cute in them!! :-)

We also went to the lake again and there were only 2 boats including us on the lake. The boys had so much fun riding on the tube. Although Emmett was not feeling very well. He had had a fever that weekend and we thought that maybe he was better. He was whiny and grumpy the whole time and we could tell his fever was pretty high. So we headed home to give him some medicine and let him sleep. Poor little buddy! 

The boys have also been obsessed with going fishing! They want to go fishing any chance they can get their Dad to take them.
