The following Saturday after we got back the Ortiz's invited us to go to the Berthoud parade. We headed out in the morning and got some yummy donuts after cleaning the church building. Then we headed to the Ortiz's to follow them down to Berthoud and to get a spot to watch the parade.
It was definetely and small town parade but it was fun and they past out candy and otter pops and the boys loved it. After the parade we headed to A&W just down the street to get some lunch before heading home.
After getting home and letting Emmett take a nap we got the boat ready and headed to the Timnath lake to take try out the boat for the first time.
The boys were so excited and LOVED it!! It was a Saturday and yet we were 1 of 4 boats on the entire lake! It was a blast and the Ortiz's came to enjoy it for a little while with us as well. It was a little hard to really enjoy it when they were there just because the boat isn't that big so we had to take turns on the boat and there is no beach area at the lake yet. It was fun however and we enjoyed our time on the lake!
