Backpack

So ever since Ethan started going to school Wyatt has wanted a backpack of his own. So for one of his prizes for going potty in the toilet was getting a backpack. I told him if he got 30 stickers for going potty in the toilet we would go let him pick out his very own backpack. So after about 2 weeks he finally earned all 30 stickers. He was so excited to get a backpack. So we headed out to Walmart while Ethan was at school and I let him pick out a backpack. It was between spiderman, minions and marvels. He finally picked the Marvels backpack (with a little encouragement haha). He was so excited and wanted to wear it while we finished getting a few things at the store. He was super excited when I put some of the things we were getting in his backpack for him to carry around. He looked so cute walking around with this huge backpack on his back. It just made him look so cute a small! haha

He was so funny. He wanted to put everything in his backpack even though I kept telling him that it was going to get too heavy. So he finally realized that I was right and stopped asking for everything. haha 

The only problem now is that he thinks he gets to go to school because he has a backpack. He was all excited about his backpack and told me, "I get to go to kindergarten like Ethan!!" I had to crush his dreams and tell him that he is not big enough to go to school yet. He would laugh and just say, "Oh... haha ok." One morning we walked Ethan to the bus and Wyatt turns around and says to me, "Can I go on the bus with Ethan?" When I told him no he just asked why. So that has been hard ever since he got the backpack. Although, I had a meeting to go to one morning and I told him that I was going to put snacks in his backpack. He got so excited and said,"Snacks? Thank you!!" He sure is good at expressing his gratitude. 

He is such a sweetheart!! We sure do love him!

3 Months old already!

I can't believe how fast time goes these days. This little man hit 3 months on the 15 of this month. How has it already been 3 months. It seems so crazy that it has already been 3 months and yet it feels like he has been in our family forever. I just love this sweet little boy. He is such a happy baby. He only gets upset when he is hungry or tired. Other than that he is just happy hanging out wherever you put him. He does such a good job on his tummy. He will be happy for probably 10 minutes, maybe more on his tummy. He will look around and stare at toys, yell, talk and then lay down and suck on his fingers. haha He has a blast in his play saucer and caught on really fast with the rattles on it. He has started to light up and smile when I go in his room to get him out of his bed. I will look in at him and say hi and he will give me a huge smile. I LOVE IT!!!! He is starting to laugh more and more. I have gotten a little more than a chuckle out of him a few times. He has not full on laughed yet but he is so close to full on laughing. He does not like it when kids scream, it makes him cry. haha He loves to yell which is super funny. He normally yells more when he is getting tired or when he is hungry and ready for his bottle. He then yells a ton. It is like he is screaming at us trying to let us know what he wants. Then other times he will just yell because that is what he wants to do! haha He coos and I think just likes to hear himself. Something else I LOVE is whenever I hold him on my hip with one arm he will reach for my hand around his waste so he can grab my hand. It is the cutest thing ever! I could let this little guy hold onto my hands forever. He still only poops about 1 time a week and when he does it is the most rank poop I have ever smelt. It seriously smells like a skunk sometimes! haha It is so weird to not have poopie diapers all the time. We have not used much of our diaper gene since we only have pee diapers for 6 out of 7 days. It is nice to not have to change poop diapers all the time but it is kind of weird having a little baby and only having to change a stinky diaper once a week. haha Oh well I will enjoy it while I can I guess! :-) He has only rolled over once from his tummy to his back which was on August 31st. He just does not seem to care very much. He also is just happy looking up at you when on his back. He does not look around all that much. So I have to keep trying to move around and get him to look different places instead of just straight up at the ceiling. I am always so worried about my babies getting flat heads and so I am always trying to move them around instead of just letting them be happy doing what they want. haha So here are some pictures of our sweet 3 month old!

September 11-14

I sure do love my life with these little boys around. They are so much fun. I love watching them grow and get better at things. Even though it is busy and I can never keep my house clean, which means that I have to clean all the time. I am trying to be better and spend time with my boys since I know that this time with them so little is so short and I want to enjoy all the time I have with them before they really do grow up. So here are just some pictures of our life! 

Wyatt is getting better at staying in the lines sometimes.

One Sunday night we went over to Jamie Hardy's house (A guy that Brandon knows through work).  He served his mission in New York and new a lot of Dominicans so we got together with our friends the Humberts (Jordan served in the D.R) and Brandon's partners family and had a Dominican night. It was fun hanging out with a bunch of friends and eating some Dominican food! 

Emmett is getting so big. He just LOVES playing with his little crinkly toys and toys that make noise. It is so cute to watch him.  He gets such an intense face when I put a toy in front of him and he grabs it. 

My life is so blessed to have such cuties in my life!! 

First Soccer Game

Ethan had his first soccer game on September 12th. It was fun to watch him play. He did pretty good for his very first soccer game ever. He still has a ways to go till he starts to get more into it. He was just enjoying himself and having fun running around after the ball. He was all smiles and towards the end was hot and tired. He was so funny during the game. He would get close to the ball and go to kick it and be a few seconds too late! haha The ball would be long gone by the time his foot swung through. He would also just look over at us during the game and give us a thumbs up and smile at us while he game was still going. We had to keep yelling for him to turn around and get the ball. haha It was pretty funny. Things we will always remember for sure! 

It was a funny game to watch. In the very first play one of the kids on our team ran it straight to the goal and after that the coach on the other team said, "ok. Now we know what to do!" haha It was so funny! We ended up winning that first game and the kids had a blast. It was a good way to start the season! :)

He was so hot and sweaty after this game. It was pretty hot for their first game. 

So what better to cool off than going to 7 eleven. :-)

Oh and I forgot to mention that before Ethan's soccer game Brandon took Wyatt to SNAG golf for the morning. Since Ethan went to the Bronco's game with Brandon by himself we figured Wyatt needed some fun time with daddy so they went golfing. By the time they got to the soccer game Wyatt was so HOT and tired that he was kind of grumpy. haha 

At least they had fun!! :-)

What a fun filled morning with my boys! 

September 1st-10th

Well life is going great these days. Ethan Loves school, Wyatt enjoys the time at home with me and Emmett, and Emmett is just happy and enjoys being home whenever we are. So here are some pictures of mostly our life while Ethan is at school.

Then one night Brandon took Ethan to a Bronco's game with his partner Travis and Travi's son. So while they went to the football game Wyatt, Emmett and I hung out at home and then went to chick fil a for dinner and met up with Travis' wife and their youngest boy. 

Wyatt wanted to hide his motorcycle. So we build a house around the motorcycle and then Wyatt started to just throw more legos on top to hide him. Haha

Emmett loves his little crinkly books. It is fun to watch him play with them. 

We ended up meeting up with Brandon's partners wife and their youngest son for dinner. It was fun to talk to RaQuelle about almost everything under the sun. Wyatt and Casin had fun together. Except Cassin decided he was going to try and bug Wyatt as much as he could. haha He kept telling Wyatt that he was going to eat his food, which would get Wyatt all rialled up because he didn't want Cassin to eat his food. Then Cassin kept saying that Emmett was his baby. That made Wyatt upset as well. Wyatt kept saying, "No! He is not your baby. He is our baby!" Wyatt was getting pretty upset. I had to keep telling him it was ok and that Cassin knew that Emmett was not his baby. haha Sad to say but I think Wyatt was glad when they left. haha 

Wyatt was pretty excited to have some ice cream after dinner! haha He always is! :-)

They had a blast at the game!! 

One day Wyatt disappeared into the bathroom and when he came out he comes over to Brandon and I and says, "I'm a stud." haha He had put water on his hair like we do when we spike it and then put a ton of jell in his hair. It was so plastered and nasty. All we could do was laugh, so I had to get a picture of it! 

Wyatt has been into using the baby play matts as tents. So he will grab what blankets he can and cover the toy and then go hide inside. So one day we got the flashlight and then read to book as he laid inside and I tried to lay inside! haha He thought it was pretty awesome. 

Then Wyatt and I went and picked our carrots out of our garden. 

He was such a good helper with cleaning them. 

He sure liked eating them too! :-)

Having fun taking pics with little man. I think he liked looking at the camera since I had it turned around so we could see ourselves. Next time maybe I will get a smile out of him while doing this! haha 

Getting so strong!

I do love having my wrap. It is fun to have Emmett all snuggled up on me while he sleeps and yet I can go to the park with Wyatt! Best of both worlds! :-) 

We went mini golfing one day and I tried to get Emmett to fall asleep in the wrap while I mini golfed. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be. haha

Lastly, this is one of Ethan's homework assignments. He was told to decorate this gingerbread man as a self portrait. So Brandon helped guide him and Ethan made the decisions on what to put where. I think it is a pretty awesome self portrait! :-) He told me that he drew shoes and the laces on his feet! haha He sure does love school!
